+Yoketa Riggins wow, now that would be a competition for the ages!!! But, Michelle skated under 6.0 and Yuna skates under the new system so it is kinda hard to compare. But for fun> Yuna has strong jumps, Michelle has incredible consistency in her jumps but only really did a 3 toe/3 toe combination whereas Yuna can do a 3lutz/3 toe. But, Michelle has Yuna beat on artistry/choreography and musicality. Yuna's spiral was always shaky and her free leg wasn't straight. I would love for a tech expert to compare, for example, Yuna's 2013 worlds LP and Michelle's 2001 worlds LP. They are both amazing skaters, both legends and both have made their mark in the history of skating forever.

+lifelong sk8nfan I know nothing about ice skating, but as an outsider I agree with how Michelle wins by artistry. I just spending a night watching hundreds of figure skating videos..I feel Michelle engages you into the performance, she has this vibrance to her that just makes you smile and makes you want to move with her. Yuna captures your eye with her grace and highly skilled movements, but she feels like a graceful ballet doll, her movements are mesmerizing, but not so touching, she does well with classical music, but her acting is bad.(the sochi 2014 Piano Concert in F, her facial emotion reads 'playful seduction' at certain moments, which totally threw me off, reminds me of KPOP dance moves)..if figure skating is sport+ art, I think yuna needs to train herself a bit more on the art. Michelle has it balanced out, she isn't the most skilled, but she used it at the right moment, simple but to the point.

@@carbontae Actually, Michelle is Yuna's idol. Yuna inspired by Michelle. That's why they are different but still have something similar.

♡Michelle's " Tosca " was much better than Irina's. ♡Michelle's artistry is the most difficult technique which Tara Lipinski never touched the level. Tara skated like a happy puppy running in the park.....Tara's flip and lutz would be called out for under rotation today. Tara's triples were cheap. Tara was overrated and Michelle was robbed at the 98 Olympics.
