I go to a British school in Thailand and we have to wear ties... Imagine wearing ties in 40 degree weather. Anyways. Do your teachers just follow you and tell you to tuck your shirt in? So annoying

***** LOL they kind of do depending on your school. People talk. That talk isn't always nice either. So dress well for the first week or so, but do not overdo it. No heels or skimpy stuff. Follow the dress code in style.

My favourite back to school accessory is my backpack as we have a uniform in England I can't express my individuality in any other way, last year it had a Cake and Jake reversible backpack which everyone loved and this year I have chosen a floral backpack but up close you can see mini yodas all over it :3

My favourite accessory for school were my pens and pencil case -yeah i am that silly-, that's because i had to wear a uniform to school and there was not much left to style other than your pens, so i got really creative between classes and made cute little ribbons for them or drawed on my pencil case just to make it feel more like me, and of course, have some fun :)

they don't let you wear hats/hoodies because it's like a safety precaution; the staff need to be able to identify students quickly and the hat will obstruct your identity to an extent.

In my high school we have uniforms Mon-Thu and then Friday we get a free dress which I think is good because we don't have to get outfits ready all the time but we still get a chance to express ourselves

You have no idea how much o miss her I suffer from depression and watching Michelle really helped me and after she left my world came crashing down I felt as if I had nothing to do because i loved her so much. That’s when started cutting even more often but now I still miss her but I’m good I stopped cutting except occasionally but I’ve accepted that Michelle has a life and has many needs as well which are probably more painful than mine but I still love her but she has a life as well

When you said about being the popular girl it really changed my mind. I'm going to be starting grade 8 this year in a new school and I wanted to be the popular girl cuz I mean I never was. I use to think the same that the popular girl has everything but your right. I don't need to be the "popular" girl I just need to be myself :) thanks for making me realize that

I'm starting 8th grade too! We'll you shouldn't really care if people will like you or not. My friend said that from everyone you meet 30% will like you, 30% will hate you, and 30% won't care. It's impossible to get everyone to like you so just be you!:)

I wish I could be like you... All of my friends are guys and my everyday outfit is a sweatshirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. I'm in my first year in middle school and I want to be more girly and stylish but I can't because I already set my image to my family (they think I'm not stylish and boyish) and I'm afraid I'll be judged. I'm already 4 weeks into school and it's really hard. I JUST WANT TO GO SHOPPING FOR THE ENTIRE DAY AND BUY CLOTHES AND ACCESSARIES!! 😖

I have the exact opposite problem like all boys hate me. I don't even know how to talk to them because I am a girly girl who loves pink but also is athletic and always is trying to be healty and look good which I know in middle school no boy cares about how they look and I've actually never had friends who are boys. TMI much! So tell me how do you make friends with boys? Also maybe bring it up casually to your family like talk about a look you saw and liked and be like maybe I should try this out. If your family laughs say I'm not kidding or something like that's your opinion that this would be silly but not mine and I'm not going to change my mind! Good luck Rose

Watching this even though I'm not in high school anymore! But anyway, this seems to help a lot. My style is any type of clothing I see and feel wearing, however I think organizing the type of style you wear in different days is a much neater thing to do than picking clothing at random. The best thing about going back to school is knowing I only have about 2 more years until I graduate and start my life as an independent young adult in college. I prefer to wear oversized sweaters dark color skinny jeans, with converse because I feel more comfortable. Also I don't like to over dress myself even though I go to a fashion school and it's always a struggle to look good because everyone has the latest brands and high end clothes, make up and hair done everyday, and nails done every week.

My favourite 'back to school accessory' is a smile! Probably really cheesy and cliché but there are endless benefits that come from a smile. Smiling makes yourself happy, others around you happy and gives out general positive energy!! I think we all know that it's a necessity to have a smile to get you through the day. :-)

call me weirdo, but i use to do this in reverse, dress up at the beginning of the week to feel fresh and up to a good start, then casual and laid back on fridays because of the exhaustion of the week. then again, i didn't do anything on fridays so, i had no need to look awesome LOL

We can't wear flashy jewelry, only light make up, only black flats and u have to wear a blazer and a tie all the damn time😞 no colorful nail polish, only french mani or light beige😣 but they don't care about the hair at all, so that's good But my friends and I still manage to look cute, even in uni

Don't be, think of it this way, at least you don't have to worry about what to wear :) More time to sleep in! I use to wear uniforms too so I get it. Once you're in college, you'll have the freedom to wear whatever you want :)

Middle school I had to wear uniforms too :/ sucks but at least you don't have to worry about what to wear. Dress up during the weekends and save up for cute clothes when you're allowed to wear them for school :)

I'm not gonna lie, but popularity in my school is stupid. It's basically the people who play football, softball, soccer, dance, or cheer that are popular. People who are in drama, orchestra ♥, band, marching band, jazz band, or choir are considered average or dorks and I'm in orchestra. It's just all labels, it's annoying, and if you're friends with a popular person, you're also considered popular. That's why I really hate people from my school yeah I said it.

I thought I would chip in on this discussion(: I play many sports, and like many other schools those who play sports are indeed considered "popular"... I know what you're going to say, you're on the 'good' side so what are you complaining about? Well, I'm in both sides really. I play fiddle/violin, piano, guitar and trombone(: Im not trying to sound like, above you in anyway or saying im better than you, please dont take it that way! But, from experience, most of the musicians/actors think the 'jocks' are the coolest people alive, but strange enough the 'jocks' think the 'dorks' are the popular ones! Sure, they're is always that one jerk jock that thinks hes way popular, but we're all not that bad! My friends group is half sports half music/drama!!

So I've got my whole week's outfit planned out. On Monday, I'm gonna wear my school uniform. Then on Tuesday, I will wear my school uniform. Wednesday, my uniform. Thursday, will be, and this one is the cutest outfit of the whole week, my school uniform. And the last day of the week, Friday, the best day of them all, deserves the best outfit of them all. She's trying to appeal to her audience, which is mostly made of young girls. The now grown women who watched her videos 10 years ago are not the same girls who watch her today. But yes, I agree that sometimes it's kind of awkward how she's trying to talk and act like a teen when she's practically 30...

Mademoiselle Irma Well, she's 27, but she looks 20, so I don't find it awkward how she acts and talks. She's still very young, I don't think it's neccesary for her to act mature. A woman in her 40's can also act bubbly and silly, it depends on personality, not age. Mish has always had a bubbly side.

My favorite back to school item is a proper backpack, for the loads and loads of books we need to carry, tons and tons of colorful pens to bring some flare to the boring pages with blue notes, but my most favorite back to school accessory is definately friends. i am transferring to another school and i am very exited to meet new people and make new friends. i wore my Lucky necklace while typing this, so i hope it helped! good luck to all the other ppl that entered the contest! -Céline
