Rewatching mich's old vids really brings back memories. Around this time was when makeup tutorials became popular and the beauty segment on youtube became one of the more clicked on links. I really miss the way it used to be, how no one really knew how to collab yet and the youtube community was just discovering new ideas everyday. It's truly cool to see the youtube community start to grow bigger and bigger and everyone knows everyone now and it's kind of like KZfaq had a coming of age experience. :') such bittersweet nostalgia.

Personally for me Michelle is the beauty community, she was the very first person that I saw doing makeup tutorials on KZfaq, and she's the main reason why I love makeup now. Without her influence and especially this video I most likely wouldn't have an interest that could lead to a career.

Omg the music is called Doll and it's from VAMPIRE KNIGHT! MY FAV SUPERNATURAL ROMANCE ANIME EVER!!! but if u read the manga and think about it, it's just those 3 characters that die over and over again. *SPOILER* seoously. Kaname dies twice, Yuki dies, in a way, twice (memory erase, then death), and Zero dies some time before Yuki. Then Kaname resurrects a second time. This is soooo messed up but I LOVE IT!!!

2:20 I actually used this tip when I started doing my brows! I first watched this video like 10 years ago, but somehow that tip stuck out to me many years later whenever I would get frustrated that my brows were slightly uneven, and it actually helped me make them look better ❤️ You also have such gorgeous eyes!! Gosh I remember recreating this look at home and making my parents laugh so hard😂 One of the first vids I've seen from her, I watched it multiple times 😳 I was really young, I didn't really understand how makeup worked or what she was saying but I fell in love with her anyway. I learned everything from her and now I'm at a level where I'm asked to do my friends' prom makeup! All thanks to Michelle ❤❤❤ (and I'm dying to see her renewed Emcosmetics I can't wait to see her new products 😍)

I remember watching this video when I was only 6 years old and was obsessed with makeup transformations. She was one of the first KZfaqrs I ever loved and looking back it blows my mind how simple and creative videos were all made back then, now almost all KZfaqrs care about money. I miss videos like this

I remember watching this at 15 years old.... Im 21 now!!! 1st video I saw by her and this awakened my interest in being in the Beauty industry. I somewhat tried this out. Michelle Phan is hands down the best Beauty Guru on youtube.
