Sometimes football has to take a back seat to the person . He mentioned his grandma several times while growing . Maturity has arrived and now Michigan can benefit from this athletic end. I like UM , but I love watching young men like this finding a home to grow and play to their full potential. Go Blue!

He has. His past was simply a young kid in college juggling football academics and personal life, that can take a toll on a young person. He’s “home” like he said. Go Blue

Glad we got a interview in with Okie this was very over due! Seemed like Jenny Taft was scared to ask him a question or say his name after the Iowa game in fear of messing it up and that was not right of her. He reminds me of some hoopers I play ball with down in South Florida. Great people! Keep working on your physical strength, eating healthy, waking up early, going to bed early and studying football! Your going to be a great edge rusher one day in the league! Michigan is for sure the school to get you there. Soak up as much as you can! 🧽 Nothin but love brotha! Go Blue!

I believe he can take this defense to another level. Twists and stunts are perfect for him since he can run in space and is almost unblockable. His improvement he makes weekly is pretty amazing. Pretty fun watching him develop into this nightmare pass rusher. Should be ready for 11/26/22

The reason why we hold our sports teams at Michigan in such high regard is because not just anybody can attend Michigan and not everybody can stay either. It’s hard enough just being a student here so to be a student-athlete is asking a lot. Having a Michigan degree means something, probably more than having played sports here. So for him to have been where he’s been and to see where he’s at and qualify to go to school here, tells you everything you need to know about the kid. God bless him and best of luck on the season young man!

I mean there’s so grace given to players. They definitely don’t have to take the hardest classes or get the best grades if they don’t want to. It’s way harder to get into Michigan when ur not an athlete. But yeah the academic standards are still higher then let’s say MSU.
@orenthaljames9670
@orenthaljames9670 Жыл бұрын
@@seawhales9437 that’s every major football program. Athletes definitely don’t have to take the hard classes. But you still have to test good and have a certain GPA to be eligible no matter how good you are, to attend Michigan. I applaud Michigan for not lowering its standards and still putting quality on the field. If we had the same academic standards as OSU, Alabama, Georgia etc. no question we would have top 5 recruiting classes every year. Harbaugh recruits guys who want to be MICHIGAN MEN not just guys trying to get to the NFL.

He could’ve gave the media the “political answer” but he kept it real and said “I was immature and upset that I didn’t get to play” so many kids wanna go to the championship team instead of going somewhere that’s going to actually put you on the field and let you shine. Me personally I say all the time go somewhere you can play and the scheme fit you. Hate seeing WRs go to schools who run the option 99% of the time 😆

This Okie dude has entered the transfer portal five times man. I’m all for the players having their rights to control their own destiny but five times? No, that is absurd the players should be able to transfer once then after that they have to give up a year of eligibility. Make it happen ncaa, I’ll give y’all two weeks to make it official then things might get a little Stalinistic…..😤
