I am kind of "happy" that I am not the only one thinking that. What future for him ? How his life would have been ? Cannot live with that. I say that to myself for Tesslynn's Ocull case too. This girl was raped just 3 years old so violently her genitalia was literally destroyed. Death seemed to be the only escape for these poor kind of souls. I have many examples of survivors of abuse who still struggle. Lauren Kavanaugh (she became an abuser), Victoria and Christopher spry (Victoria killed herself). Well.. how can you live normally... I cant imagine the sadness Timothy must have felt to woke up every f mornings in this tinu room. Just escaped from his dreams to woke up to that horrible reality.. At least, now, timothy is sleeping eternally. No more fear. No more hunger. I am ashamed to say that I am happy hes at peace and not living anymore knowing what he endured.

She went and bought extra hot sauce online, expensive cameras, motion sensors, etc.! She went out of her way, spent extra money, spent all this time to torture him on purpose. She enjoyed harming her sick child who did nothing. Timothy’s only crime was existing.

“You would have lost the very thing you wanted to torture.” FINALLY a judge that understands the difference between mental illness and sadism. She’s not mentally ill. She got pleasure from the total control, dominance and power she had over this child. The torture happened in the privacy of her home where she could enjoy it at leisure. Thank you judge for speaking for Timothy.

I respect the intent of what the judge said, but I agree more with the officer that interviewed Paul. It was a twisted sense of "discipline" to get a child to "submit" to the parent's authority. Timothy was her "problem child" that was keeping her from her independent career goals. A nuisance of no value, that she deeply resented to the point of senseless torture and death. I think she ultimately would rather have him die and get on with her life, rather than enjoy the torture. She wanted FREEDOM! Paul was the child that willingly complied with her behavior - a "good boy", that craved her acceptance and love.

May there be many testimonies from them about you and your impact when you decide to retire and beyond. 😊💗🥰

I've been struggling to know how to process this, as the mum of a 17 year old boy with autism. My boy struggles in an educational setting, I fought to keep him in mainstream school, and now he is in college, still struggling. Yet our family has never given up, knowing he deserves the world. His father and stepmother were showing signs of using food to punish him if he wouldn't eat, giving him bread and jam sandwiches as lunch, standing him in a corner when he wouldn't talk (in his early years his speech was extremely limited) I wasn't allowed to ask how his visits to his dad went, as family court in the UK frown upon anything they perceive as parental alienation. He went to school at the age of ten, struggling to articulate how he felt at the way they were treating him. Ultimately, a social services council worker advised me to stop the contact as we were both being emotionally abused by his father and wife, and risk being taken back to court. Which luckily didn't happen. Seeing those slight similarities has shocked me to the core. I wish poor Timothy had a warm and loving family, no matter what the issues, it's the very least of what he deserved. I feel for Paul, but thankfully he is taking accountability. For Shanda, there is no hell hot or deep enough.

When they got divorced he cried because even at ages 14 and 17 he fear losing us, my dear mother on the other hand wanted nothing more then to be free of the responsibility of having us, she wanted to "experience the youth she never had" becoming a mother at age 19, so to my loving mother drinking and partying was more important... not saying you or every women is a bad mother, but frankly the idea that it is always the mother that is the most loving is simply not true

I don't want to start an argument or anything I just want to leave an idea out there and hope it means something to other people but the biggest problem we as a society face is treating children like adults. Whether it's someone trying to date a teenager or a parent abusing them it all comes from a place of being able to convince yourself that the child you're talking to is just as mentally capable as yourself and holding them to that standard. I'm not trying to justify anyone that's abused a child but I do want other people to look inside and think about what they get mad at children for and think about how reasonable it is for a child to know any better.

@acatwithaids5398 The idea was that it takes a family to raise a child. If the mother did something unsafe, the father should have stepped in to protect the child and vice versa. If the grandparent had knowledge of what happened, they could/should be charged with accessory to murder. I'm not pulling out a pitchfork and shouting for the grandparents to be punished. I'm just explaining why other guardians involved in raising children should be held accountable for the children in their charge.

Being 47 years old and having grown up with an abusive mother who hit her children, bullying and phytologically terrorized them I must admit I had thought/hoped society would have become better at protecting children over the years, how could a case like this happen nowadays, how can a child be treated this horrible and no one notices. Society fail this kid, his mother is a monster, but society failed miserably, when a judge said he is glad the child died so he could finally get peace, it just sounds like resignation and something that couldn't be prevented. It is a sad fact of life that people who should never had been allowed to have children get them, while good people like you with the heart at the right place can't. Sometimes the world just sucks, and I am sorry that you have ´been denied the chance to becoming a good mother. Why not considered adoption, change a child's life for the better?

Hundreds of animals are tortured and killed by their owners and others, worse done to them on a daily basis, atleast in this case the little boy got justice, but in most animal abuse cases they get a slap on the wrist and walk free, stop turning this into a human versus animal issue, all life matters,no one is more important than the other, cruelty is exactly what it is,whether to a human or animal.
