We definitely have our tree up the day after Halloween 😂 because I’m Filipino(I’m in California) In the Philippines , my mom says they start celebrating once the “-ber” months hit… so imagine celebrating Christmas from September 1st all the way through to January 🎄

I went for the first time this year and completely agree - we had a great time but didn’t come away raving about it and had a good list of improvements. I think it’s really appealing for US guests who would buy just that ticket for their Magic Kingdom today. We certainly won’t be rushing back…but love our Mickey popcorn bucket too 😂

I’ve never been to a Disney Park, but we’ve been on a few Disney cruises. We even took the kids on a Very Merry Christmas cruise a few years ago. They made it snow in the ship lobby when Santa arrived. Disney does Christmas like no other!

I stayed at the Grand in 1999 for Christmas with my family when I was little 🥹 I didn't even realize that was the first year for the Gingerbread house

we prefer the halloween party also. if youre spending the extra money the christmas party doesn’t seem worth it. the popcorn bucket is cool though! you can bring any bucket back to any park for the refills, even from past years 😊

I loved Babes in Toy Land when I was a kid 😊 My fav part of the vlog was seeing which foods and desserts you and Dean would choose. As a baker, I always find the different Disney holiday treats to be interesting 😊

Space mountain with Christmas lights, snowflakes and Christmas music…really? Wow!! So much fun! Your screaming on the ride was so funny. The first time I ever rode Space Mountain was when I was about 10 years old. My dad took both my younger sister and I on the ride. My sister got scared and slumped down in the seat, so the entire ride my dad could not see her and he was freaking out thinking she had slipped out or something! On another note, I also love the gingerbread houses. This year I saw the one in the lobby of the Boardwalk Resort…it was not as big as the Grand Floridian one, but still so amazing. The Toy soldiers in the Christmas parade are my favourite part! I decorate for Christmas and begin playing Christmas music the day after Halloween…I love Christmas!

Such a lovely vlog, feeling a bit more Christmasy now 😉 I think I wouldn’t pay for both a park day and the nighttime event, whew, too much for me! At DLR (only park I’ve ever been to) there’s no special night event, and everyone gets to see the parade etc. I like that a lot. Seems more fair to all. Loved Oogie Boogie, so much extra going on there, well worth it, & I hope you can go soon! (California is waiting for you 💕) That said, we did too many rides as well (the short waits are so enticing!) & missed seeing characters, not enough time! We’d do it differently next time for sure.

Eggnog in our family is definitely alcoholic: we add rum and whiskey. 🤣 I have yet to go to the Christmas party and would love to one day. This was a great way to experience it until then!

We tried to get all the cookies and drinks but only could handle half! We did this party instead of a normal day pass and it was a similar cost. We wanted to be sure to ride Tron and were afraid of missing out from the virtual queue during normal park hours. If you're only doing a short trip the night events are really worth it!

Hey Catherine 🤗 thanks for taking us with you and for your honest opinion. I 1000% absolutely lovely the MVMCP and would do it every time I can - the parade and fireworks just make it worthwhile for me. What did you think of the fireworks? I love them, one of my faves for sure however I have not done MNSSHP - that’ll be next year so I’m interested to see if I agree that this is better. I did Jollywood nights this year and I would not recommend that at all 🫣♥️ xxx
