Listening to a song can transport me back in time and their music has helped me cope through life's ups and downs. Eddie & Chris, the last two left of the Seattle Big Four leads. And the friendship between them and the bands is very evident. Perhaps that is Andrew Wood's greatest legacy after all.... #TOTD #PJ #Soundgarden

I still remember the first time I heard this song when I was like 7 and up until I was maybe 16 I thought this was just a one hit wonder from some random band. All the while thinking "these 2 singers sound familiar, they should have their own bands". Then I finally started learning about rock history and culture and was lucky enough to see Soundgarden before Cornell's passing. I would have loved to see Linkin Park before Chester Bennington passed, but their deaths are a big reason why I now take any opportunity I can to see a band live.

Both vocally still on point to perfection. Both look very healthy and happen to be very nice looking especially Eddie he has aged so handsome but Chris too... The most epic is they are still here, drug free and looking healthy. I think many rockers are sober today more than ever from all the tragedies in the past... Phil from Pantera got clean and he is very built, Corey Taylor is very healthy and of a good mind, Shaun Morgan from Seether went to rehab and cleaned up. Sully from Godsmack, well he smokes weed but I think that is it, he as well seems like he works out and takes care of himself....I think it is great, hopefully we can keep our great rock singers of today and like these guys...alive and well for many years to come!

This is so pitiful to watch. A man that on the outside seems to have so much life in him & so much left to give yet obviously is suffering that bad on the inside. Chris is one of the best & I'm so glad I was alive during his lifetime!!! :(

Pearl Jam and Temple of the Dog were the sole reasons why I started learning guitar back in 5th grade. Eddie's heartfelt introduction and the way he looks over at Chris throughout the song literally brings me as a grown man now to tears. I might never sing, but these guys are my heroes and have also impacted in many ways my life and friends who I've come to know and bond with through their music. Chris Cornell, perhaps gone now, but certainly never forgotten. Much love from Pittsburgh, PA. Rest in peace.
