it's unreal when i start thinking about it. my little brother(cousin, technically) took his own life and Mic looks like him, and then with the empathy/moody/angst tone to the content Righteous puts out it's almost to tears in a lot of his song. This song in particularlyt reminds me of the love of my life, how her and i should've had kids. it's been almost 20 years since that day. she rang me today to say she's single and has her stuff in a van.. i'm trying to get her to me. i want to spend my life with this girl. shit's real as fuck and Rocky, bro. Why did she choose him over me and then came back to me when he was beating her then ran back and I know she felt the connection as she told me, just as pazzed man I even wrote a song for her that she read and loved I don’t get any of it but I’m here on my own and I’ll die alone she’s the one and what hurts she knows it!

Mic is as real as they come. The reason he hasn’t blown up is for a few reasons. The corrupt music industry only wants to promote artists that’s talk about killing, drugs etc. Look around you and see what’s happening in today’s society. Mic spits the truth which doesn’t fit the music industries agenda. Most artists sell their souls to make it which Mic hasn’t done. He should be commended for that. Mic has gone through a lot and it takes a lot of courage to express how you feel. Most people are too proud to let people know what’s going on in their lives which is so sad.This is my opinion and if you don’t agree,don’t hate just accept it and move on.

Same reason Lowkey & Akala who've been touring the world performing to packed houses for over a decade have been blackballed by the people who run the commercial side of the industry, and had to (very successfully) set up their own labels at the start selling mixtapes out of car boot sales to make ends meet. Akala is a famous author now, he owns his own label, employs staff and he's gave lectures at Oxford on history and cultures and appeared on TV mainstream news to be asked his opinions on political affairs and Lowkey similarly started out the same, none of those who are part of the club that run the commercial side of rap/hip-hop/grime etc will touch any of them though even though they're better than any of the performers who did sign up to big labels and sold part of their souls as they did so. All ignored for similar reasons. Look at who runs the industry and demands black youth rap about shooting n***as, how much cash they make, how many b**ches they sleep with etc. These guys refused to surrender to these degenerates and sell out their own people's proud history, instead keeping it real, and I'm pretty sure Mic & Lowkey's comments on the human rights abuses of a certain little country thousands of miles away played the biggest part of all for them, especially as Mic is of Iranian descent & Lowkey of Iraqi heritage. I listened to this album on loop during a deep depressive period during lockdown 2021 after a bad break up and losing family members... so much to relate to in this song for myself and for anyone else I think with mental health issues or who has been through trauma or both. Currently had the biggest breakdown of my life sat in my room at 454 am cryin wishing i just keep going day after day and listening to mic helps easy my pain every1 calls u a bad person judges u and at the time u feel like everyone is better off without u i dont cry for anger and not here to hurt any1 but myself hurt inside i cry in the shower so no1 can see my tears or hear me cry i dont ask for help untill today i have 2 little kids with a ex who find things hard to understand a current girlfriend that judges me when i though that was the person who cared the most yet liein alone blaming myself asif im a bad person each day in my shoes is a years worth of miles in someone elses emotional drained and physically broken dont always look ur life as a negative just know ur in a rut and every1 will judge because they dont feel ur hurt cry ur tears hide there feelings depression suport 10 months now since i admitted i was a severe depressant and there is hope ❤❤❤ say safe every1 i wish u all happier day xx
