The guidelines we give TEDx organizers are described in more detail here: storage.ted.com/tedx/manuals/t...
Thousands of people around the world have begun to the practice of microdosing psychedelics, like LSD and psilocybin, for its proposed health benefits. Clinical Scientist, Joseph Rootman, collaborated with an international team of researchers to deploy the largest study of psychedelic microdosing to date. He will guide listeners through the findings of this study and introduce them to the who, what, and why of this new and interesting practice. Joseph Rootman is a PhD candidate in the clinical Psychology program at the University of British Columbia. He works under the supervision of Dr. Zach Walsh as part of the Therapeutic, Recreational, and Problematic Substance use lab with a research focus in the therapeutic potential of cannabis and psychedelics such as psilocybin, LSD and Ketamine. Joseph is lead author on two recent publications in Nature: Scientific Reports which highlight the potential therapeutic benefits of psychedelic microdosing on mood,
mental health, and cognition. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

Mushrooms are without a doubt one of the best things on this existence when it comes to self improvement and simply enjoying life. It's something people should do at least once, I don't care what anyone says. It's life changing stuff.

I can't find a source anywhere for any good psychedelics in my area, I suffer some pretty bad depression and i got a chance to try mush and man it was a miracle substance, I felt free, the only high or euphoria was from the relief of my vices being released, that's exactly what it did

I am not spiritual at all, but after taking shrooms a few months ago I am much happier and am highly motivated and my ADHD gone , lost a ton of anxiousness and had a few epiphanies about how I should live my life. I decided to buy an ounce for backup, but haven’t yet felt the need to take any more since then.

Psychedelic help a lot and they’re like a cheat sheet to life, but you could also experience the same things. Psychedelic amp tf out whilst being sober, meditation and astral projection are key.

I tried micro-dosing yesterday for the first time, and I had wonderful experience. I'm someone who suffers from chronic depression, and I was simply happy, not overly ecstatic, but genuinely happy and active with my friends and family. I was even excited to get out of bed this morning.
