- Static environment mapping
- Realtime environment / user occlusion
- Realtime light / shadow / VFX
- AI navigation

Why isn't it a dual camera.

Kinect has been in development since 2011. I would hope after a century of designs, you’d find a way to ditch the need dual lens. The last Kinect for Xbox One was single lens but people still preferred the older Kinect for the Xbox 360.
