I never understood overwatch, like wtf is the point of telling people what each characters sexual preference or disability is in a game that HAS NO STORY? That "miss" incident happened to me during a class i had to take while studying some bullshit and we had social skills classes as well as straight up feminism classes. During one of those "miss" came up (señorita since im from spain but señora and señorita are missus and miss respectively) and the teacher got all up in arms, saying that miss is infantilizing and assumes marital status, which yeah, by definition it does but no one uses it like that, normally we uses miss for younger people and missus for older people, that's it. What I learned about sexual harassment in the work place is that it is ok for females to partake in it, but it is not ok for you as a male to report such behavior because if you do the tables will be turned on you and you will take the blame effectively snitching yourself out. I remember working for a company and having to strip naked in front of a all female staff for being blamed for stealing diamond earrings by the female staff. My sister's were a part of the staff and had to witness this treatment of my character. I apologized to my family and got naked on the property's camera to prove my innocence. I even argued that the non related females were just trying to see me naked. I was cleared of any wrong doing and then left the company on bad terms. It probably wasn't my first time getting nude in front of a crowd of people. Hell, everytime I get drunk, I wake up nude like oh no, not again.

Ehhh I'm not going to go straight to "Microsoft saved Blizzard" just yet. I learned that lesson when Disney bought Star Wars. Approach with optimism if you want, but remain cautious at the same time. Microsoft's been making some disconcerting moves on their own as of late that has me concerned about the direction the company is heading. So Micro owning Blizz is something I'm taking a "wait-and-see" approach. I will say that I have been entertaining the thought of ending my Blizzard Boycott after nearly four years with the news that Blizzard's been purchased and that many of their bad actors are likely to get the axe. I remember when WoW was fun and GMs would personally respond to tickets in role play. Those days are long gone. The game lost it's touch in multiple ways. I think what ultimately broke my interest in WoW was a mass robbing of a guild vault, all because we trusted the wrong person. Blizzard didn't do anything about these ninjas to the point where ninjas would make guilds to prey on people's generosity (they'd take everything from the shared vault and than disband the guild and/or switch servers.) And these ninjas would brag about their thieving in trade chat, and Blizzard refused to take advantage of their banning for "any or no reason" policy. Even with the loot system changed, I can only imagine how much worse it's gotten. It's not fun when your good faith is so easily and openly used against you.

Activision will always release a new cod on both major consoles with pc, at best they could make exclusive marvel games and time exclusivity dlc much like blizzard/bungie at the time did with Playstation for the Destiny games. We let them fucking destroy what we love. ANY TIME corporations take interest in something they feel they can extort for money, they do it, and they ruin it. These people who own the modern day AAA dev companies, have most likely never played a game, or even want to. They only want the money. AAA gaming is dead to me. Indie is where it's at.

As someone who sadly plays classic wow. It was so much fun watching all the virtue signaling changes they made to the game after the lawsuit. They also removed the /spit emote....mainly because when they added the first "store" mount to classic tbc, everyone would spit on anyone riding it. Gotta protect the pay pigs in the name of virtue. They also changed some female npcs into a mix of male/females and added a male succubus....among many other things

I quit every Blizzard game in 2011 when they censored me on the Blizzard forums. Censored for calling them out on braking their own rules regarding GM's getting involved in PvP situations. It was forbidden. When I called foul, they banned me from the forums and erased every forum post I'd made in the last 6 YEARS! When I left, I took most of my friends with me. Blizzard will never see me open my wallet again. They are on MY banned list now.
