Microsoft Flight Simulator is being hailed as the new Crysis, the ultimate game to melt your epic gaming PC into pieces. If that's the case then surely the GTX 1060 won't be able to handle it right?...RIGHT??? Well, after testing the card on Ultra, Medium, and Low settings I'm fairly surprised to tell you that this game runs just fine and it is very enjoyable. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is not an FPS game where you really need high frames so playing on lower FPS isn't as big of a deal. In fact, had I not had MSI Afterburner overlay on I would have thought I was getting high FPS and that's the truth!

I know this is old but I have a core I 5 7400F so I would probably fair a bit better. I plan to buy the 1660 super though.

I have thee Ryzen 5 1600AF which is basically a binned R5 2600 for cheaper, love this CPU for under $100 it has 6 cores and 12 threads!

Nice, I have an i5 7600K (not overclocked) 2133 mhz 16 gb ram and gtx 1060 6gb. What graphic setting do you think I should use to get a playable fps ?

@@ravel1 so pretty similar to what I have here, still tho with this game being so demanding id recommend low or medium. Like I said in the video though if you're only getting 20fps in a game like this it doesn't feel bad at all. I could play this game for hours at 20fps and it would be ok, its a lot more on focusing how to fly the plane and mechanics rather then the graphics changing a lot so it still feels smooth
