Definitely MSFS takes the cake in scenery. However, I do feel that the lighting engine in X-Plane 12 feels a bit more true to life than MSFS. Though X-Plane 12 still has a lot of issues with anti-aliasing and textures, the devs have promised improvements for these issues as well as new graphics features for the next few updates. Can't wait to see how X-Plane 12 looks after a few more updates!

The XP12 default flight model vs addon msfs is not accurate comparison. MSFS looks better scenery but unrealistic.

XP12 looks like a game from 2007. No point buying XP12, developers have abandoned the sim. Real pilots have already said the physics are now similiar so XP12 really no longer have any advantage.

Love the retro look of X-Plane 12, so 2010. I do like the feedback X-Plane 12 gives on landings though.

@@ThatPilotKyle I love how the 172 in X plane hard snap rolls you left every time you stall, so realistic. MSFS actually feels more realistic in a 172, not sure about the bigger planes. But the air feels heavy on MSFS. It does on DCS also for some reason.

No discussion; MSFS feels so static. XP is dynamic and we can feel that it simulates the flight much more realistically. Asobos flightmodel is terrible and they really need to step up their game lol.

In MSFS, it feels like I'm sometimes flying a hot air balloon, the aircraft feel like they don't provide any feedback or sense of weight whatsoever. But I have found X-plane to be a a bit of a nightmare to run well consistently. I ran the Zibo for years and had so many issues trying to get everything to run the way it should. I just switched to the PMDG 737 in MSFS and so far it's running extremely well. Hoping the flight model gets better with time though...

Saying that in the year 2024 is a sign that you have no idea what the current state of Microsoft Flight Simulator is like. If something has a lot of advantage from Microsoft Flight Simulator compared to XPLANE is that it does not update anything unlike Microsoft Simulator. And if there is one thing they have done since it came out in 2020, it is to not stop updating it continuously. Physics have improved exponentially, to say that they still have bad physics is a sign that you have no idea what you are talking about.

flight model is significantly better in x-plane. MSFS is excellent but the aircraft don't handle nearly as well.

Saying that stupid argument in 2024 is a sign that you have absolutely no idea what the current state of Microsoft Flight Simulator is like. I could agree with you if we were in 2020 but 4 years have passed since the launch of Microsoft Flight Simulator, this stupid argument is no longer valid
