This is definitely my favorite Microtech model. The size is perfect, the ergos and action are perfect. And they finally made an OTF wit ha front-mounted button! IT'S PERFECT! This one is especially fun for its 24kl gold plating done by PVK Vegas.

The models with the side switch (UTX series) are also ambidextrous. You can flop the pocketclip to the opposite side for lefties.

I’ve been thinking about picking up a red Dirac or a Dirac Delta, which is just the bigger version.

The DIRAC is the perfect size and release pressure for my hands. Razor sharp blade too.

I owned a D/E Ultratech long enough to realize that I usually press on the spine of the blade when I cut stuff. Ouch.

Wow! Yes. I’ve dealt with PVK and they’re great. I’m considering of moving to Vegas and I’ll probably be in their shop every week buying something... lol. Nice Deadlock. Soon as the Model C drops, I’m all in. How much was this with the gold plating?
