The cabinet really looks great! My only additional tip using these gel strippers is the thicker you get it on the piece, the better it does at removing the finish. Thanks for sharing!

I saved this almost exact same peice from the garbage pile this week, only mine is definitely more gorgeous lol. Its an immaculate piece... I've been eyeing it all week, and been trying to convince my hubby to help me bring it home. Finally he agreed today, although its been out in the rain now. So the wood on the top is a little more rattered, but still i. phenomenal condition. Any advice for restoring a similar piece, when the wood grain has begun to separate a little due to moisture? Seems to be solid wood.

I do the same for finishes. Not a big fan of polyurethane and plastic-y feeling finished.
