I've mostly be left cold by a lot of releases the last 2 years but DAMN; Straxus looks incredible! They even got his vehicle mode spot on. Right up there with Tarn for getting it perfect.

The hammer for springer is a reference to the old comics as he was with the wreckers definitely planning on picking this one up as it looks much better than the siege in my opinion as well as the extra mobility in the shoulders if nothing else

I do hope future WFC drones get their own mold, the Decepticon Gunner should get his own mold, as well as Shotgunner, Rocket Trooper and especially Brutes and Titans!

Straxus is the star of the show this time around. A rarely done character, and they got him perfect.

Finally my boi Skywarp is getting a Studio Series! I honestly think that his color scheme would have worked better for an ROTF Jetfire retool, but the BBM Seeker mold *is* more screen-accurate, so it's a win-win.

Most people may be let down by all the repaints and the re-releases, but to me it's s sigh of relief. "Oh thank God, there's only one or two that I want. Now I have more money for groceries."

I'm quite liking the look of Springer. I always wanted Siege Springer but never got him, and I got the Wreck'n'Rule version but was dreadfully let down by the awful feet being too loose to stand him up, the chest always popping out and the transformation being absolute hell the first time around. If they tune up these problems for 86 Springer, along with that great new tooling and articulated hands, I'll give him a pick-up for sure.

That Straxus is much better than the time way back when he was just a repainted retool of Skullgrin (though the Hasbro release of that Straxus was renamed Darkmount for some reason; Takara's release was the correct Straxus)...

I say the cartoon and movie itself wasnt one hundred percent accurate, so I say SS86 Bumblebee will be a pretty good figure for being what he is.

the last bayverse character we got was mohawk and that was 4 months ago. im so tired of hasbro ONLY doing 86, its driving me insane. all of the 86 dinobots before any of the other age of extinction dinobots other than grimlock is insane. the second ss commander being an 86 optimus is EVEN MORE INSANE. still no que, still no frenzy, still no twins, no demolishor as a repaint, no payload as a repaint, no breakaway concept art figure, no gamer edition warpath from the dotm game, no hatchet, , no berserker, no dreadbot, no onslaught, no nitro zeus, no tlk barricade or tlk megatron, no hound from aoe or tlk, no bugatti drift, no aoe or tlk optimus, no daytrader from tlk, and many more i didnt feel like mentioning. its actually starting to piss me off. i know bayverse is mostly comprised of bad movies, but studio series was LITERALLY MADE FOR THE BAYVERSE. im not a g1 hater, i have my fair share of ss86 figures and i love them, but this is just exhausting. who cares about another god damn bumblebee. its so annoying that hasbro just panders to the wider audience (g1 fans) and gives bayverse fans half a pack of gum and a cigarette.

These reveals might not be exciting, but at least we have next year to look forward to. I just really want to see Widow Maker and which design they’ll go with.

Funny, as a Unicron Trilogy and Animated stan, I usually thought the new reveals such as both Armada and Energon Galvatrons along with Animated Motormaster were the best part about the Fanstream reveal. Oh well lol.

For the upcoming Soundwave toy, the 3 cassettes in my opinion will be Ravage, Buzzsaw and Enemy.

Of the retool/repainted figures from this whole wave, the only ones I'm getting are Skywarp to complete the seekers, Springer since I never got him, maybe the Energon Galvatron, the Netflix Soundwave since I never got him. Really hoping they give him Frenzy, Rumble, and Laserbeak, but they'll probably give him Ravage instead of Frenzy or Rumble. Then possibly Armada Galvatron. Definitely getting Steeljaw and might just get 2 for the heck of it, then Definitely 86 Bumblebee, and the Deluxe 86 Prime. Also probably gonna get the C-03 Bumblebee, maybe Cliffjumper.

That Straxus is gorgeous, I'd love to pick him up. Liked the vid, great breakdown on the reveals! I'd love to see the comic line wrap up with Optimus Prime from the new comics. If you're reading them, you know exactly what I mean.

Need that Steeljaw, my Blaster is getting bored just having 1 friend. Springer is my absolute favourite character so I'll have to get the new version, but skipping Bumblebee as I have the masterpiece.

2:35 you aren’t wrong. I had to preorder it off of Amazon rather than from Hasbro from how fast the preorders kept getting sold out. All in all, reveals were ok. Not great but I’m not disappointed. That said I am SO EXCITED for Soundwave. Bros my favorite and I was so disappointed I missed out on all of the G1 Soundwave molds. Interested what the Cassettes are.

I love seeing Legacy United and other Legacy lines doing the Unicron Trilogy shows. I'm personally picking up most of the Cybertron toys from Legacy United. I've also been picking up Fans Hobby's take on the Armada figures which I have Prime, Galvatron and Overload with their Jetfire and Tidal Wave coming out soon. Their also doing the legendary weapon trios of the gun, shield and sword which I can't wait to get as well.

Remembering that TLK Drift was supposed to be a part of this wave before getting CANCELLED. Pour out one for the homie 😭

I had the siege Springer and he was alright but of the over 40 figures I own any others from WFC I sold ive never had the slightest piece break except on Springer.The peg that snaps his legs together broke right after i got it and im careful my figures i even sanded down the breathable grapple pegs and they work perfectly,im not sure if it was just my copy of Springer or if it was a more widespred QC issue.

I wonder when we'll get a review of rotf deadend, I absolutely love him.

I stopped collecting studio series because how ridiculous the prices where for these toys (in Australia) although im digging the new designs its so weird that they put hollow areas in the studio series hope they could patch them awesome content man keep it up brother!

I find it hilarious that PvP talked mad crap about the Springer and Bumblebee, yet those two figures have sold out everywhere for preorders.

Slipstream definitely needs a new chest piece that actually has a foe cockpit, new wings (preferably in animated teal), and a more animated style head. If someone makes that upgrade kit I will buy it.

Motormaster suits that mould so much better with it being bulkier than the og animated prime

Thanks for these reflections - personally I’m pleased to be getting Steeljaw but my absolute immediate pre-order had to be Straxus and despite the Galvatron re-tooling he is the spitting image of the Marvel Comics original character as he first appeared. Very excited for that. Springer I’m less sure of… but it didn’t stop me getting SS86 Blaster! 😂

I might be interested in the Armada Galvatron, just to have him on my shelf as stand in for "Megazarak".

Based on the yellow hand and red pointy shoulder, I think Hot Rod/Rodimus will be the last Comic Edition reveal, and his cover will be Issue 43

Decepticon Soldier seems to be a very extensive retool of Barricade. The hips and hip ball joints are the same. So is the gun and the hands. And also the armature that secures the wheel wells on the legs. Every other visible piece is new tooling.

Springer's chest is retooled, new head sculpt and other subtle changes plus all the accessories it will NOT be a shelf warmer.

A solid stream GE Decepticon Trooper is my favorite I like the pipeline reveals as well. Quake & Slipstream I gery much want for my collection.

Not having gotten a Springer since the 30 line, I'm looking forward to this one. I also don't have the Seige Bumblebee or Soundwave, so those releases are on my list also. I really wish they had managed to keep the VW form for bee though. Straxus looks cool as well. Steeljaw is a must because we haven't gotten a release in too many years, but it's not the best looking figure that it could be, for sure. I would have preferred some more detail and articulation, and maybe had they released the cassettes as a set they could have done this for each and garnered a higher price point.

And Steeljaw is already sold out for preorrder. Is it me, or does bumblebee look like G1 Bumper?

personally im really digging that Skywarp, im glad they didn't go the route they took with thundercracker and actually gave him the grey pieces both Starscream and Thrust had, couse as much as i love Thundercracker, i think he had way too much blue to the point most details got lost in the lack of color contrast. here we mighht have less purple than we wished for, but at least theres some more variety in his overall color pallete

I wouldn't mind a Comic Edition of Nightbeat, since the last one was a repaint of Bumblebee.

The Netflix Spundwave is very rare and extra hard to get putside the USA, so a main line release with additional cassets is VERY WELCOME to me.

I think that the 4th comic edition figure is going to be Blaster. Same mould as kingdom/legacy/SS86 but with a totally different headsculpt and deco. Hopefully some more accessories too.

I hate to say it, because I was beyond happy when I first heard we were getting WFC/FOC figures, but the way Hasbro has treated this line is honestly incredibly disrespectful to not just the loyal fans, but the developers of the games. There's so much love surrounding WFC and FOC, from both developers and fans, but Hasbro are butchering them and there's no reason for it. Why is a figure of a cut, C list concept character, such as Sunstreaker so much better quality than fully fleshed out A list characters like Bumblebee and Barricade from games that people played for years? Hasbro can do better, but for some reason they don't care to. Frankly they're losing money because I've seen all the Gamer Edition figures other than Optimus go on clearance in every store, online and physical. This line just isn't doing the games justice. Hasbro will see the poor sales of these figures and assume there's no demand or interest in games, which couldn't be further from the truth.

that straxus will be mine ! :D :D :D man its a good retool. the cannon is RIGHT outta the comics . at this stage in terms of comics characters i recon it could be retooled AGAIN into "Flame" , though he was more of a fire tank than a fire cannon. but beyond that what i really want is an emerite xaaron. he's pretty much the only big non toy player to not get a toy now.

And Thundertron looks awesome! Now, idk which one to get if I want Thundertron. And I had a thought: What if they retooled the Blaster mold heavily into G1 Soundwave? Would it work? Like, retool every bit/aspect that makes the mold _Blaster_ & make it more _Soundwave_ . Maybe retool the arms, or just one arm to have a port/post connection for Laserbeak? & maybe include Laserbeak, too? Again, would it work? Edit: I forgot abt Quake! I'm also excited for him! & Steeljaw is so freakin' adorable!

I’m hyped for ss86 bumblebee. I think he’s improved so much from netflix but I understand why people don’t like how he isn’t a complete volkswagon or he doesn’t have the blue windows. But the cherry on top is he won’t be as hard to find as the netflix one 😂
