I expected it to be fun, but it's better than I thought it could be. I wish I had thought of homeschooling sooner!

I want to thank you for your foreign language video you did. We start implementing your recommendations and resources and just makes so much sense and it has gone wonderfully!

I am so happy to hear that! What plans and hopes do you have for teaching a foreign language? I am going to probably do separate monthly updates just for foreign languages. Since the video, we have already changed a few things and I want to explain what we are doing and why we are changing. Mainly it is because I have gotten Morgan far enough along in French that we can begin focusing on studying specifically for the DELF A1 exam which is different than studying French for French's sake

Hi, Your enthusiasm for homeschool is contagious. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Your foreign language videos have helped me a lot. I have been frustrated with our lack of progress and now I know why, and I have ordered workbooks and some easy readers to go along with Rosetta Stone . I look forward to your updates for the future as I have a daughter beginning 4th grade and one beginning 1st.

Thank you so much for telling me my videos help! I'll be doing regular updates on French and maybe making them separate from monthly updates because not everyone is interested but those few who are, really are. Happy homeschooling!

I agree! We just started and I was immediately impressed with the vocab and level of writing. Then I did a bit of research on the author and she is an Edgar Allen Poe winner so that makes sense

It usually takes a while to find the right fit for math. All of my kids are different but 2 hours of math is extreme!!!! My 6th grader only does 45 min a day and it's totally fine.

I know -- I felt so bad for Morgan! I think it was morbid curiosity on my part to see how long she would actually voluntarily sit and do math! lol We are down to 30-40 mins now.
