If she "settles" for you despite feeling no attraction because you're the "secure and boring" choice, with you being the adorer and her the adored, there are 3 possible futures awaiting: 1.) At best you will be in a love- and sexless marriage that's going to feel like roommates and not romantic partners, the "relationship" held together by routine and shared responsibility. 2.) Your relationship will have the the dynamic you see in classic boomer sitcoms, wife constantly nagging, neversatisfied with her partner, you are the "bumbling fool" from her POV etc while you hold something between apathy and resentment for her, basically bad roommates instead of decent roommates from 1. Once agin, the "relationship" is only held together by the shared responsibility, routine, obligation and the sentiment of "better the devil you know (than the devil you don't)" 3.) Like 2, but what held 2 together is not enough to keep you from separating. You are going split up at the very latest as soon as the kids leave the nest, but probably already around the time they become teenagers and sometimes even before that happens. And when I say "split up" I mean 70% of the time, according to statistics, she will initiate divorce. You'll be the guy she divorces to chase the hot mailman. So, from top to bottom, best case is to be more or less volutarily celibate for the last ~50 years of your life as the person you have resolved to be monogamous with has zero interest to sleep with you. Worst case is you are free from that curse, but pay child support instead. The only way out is to date down by either lowering your standards (a lot), raising your value, or both.
