Well to be completly honest Baus was playing vs hard Counter + enemy jg and supp 24/7. Still manages to do much in this match eventhough he couldnt do anything in passive form because of Alistar. Baus is the real winner here for me

The baus felt like his sion is so respected that he now has to deal with a global taunt when he's in the side lanes. But they had so much cc that his deathmode wasn't effective once he got behind.

the reason why baus can take gromp while tfblade is pushing the wave is because hes scared of the sion bush Q, so he doesn't just hard shove it since baus can pull a freeze or bait a gank with his jg. It's also just better to slow push waves most of the time in top lane but yea sion having the Q out of vision threat definintely helps give him time

Honestly, it was less Camille here, and more Alistar, he basically counters anything Sion tries to do.

I feel like the reason why the Baus is entertaining to watch and climbs well is because of how it seems like he's behind, but he's rarely behind in gold and xp, usually being one of the highest in the game, and also consistently dishes out damage. It kind of reminds of how T1 is playing this year, with many slow starts, but besides a couple games, T1 was never behind in gold or xp. Always ahead in the macro.

Yeah, this game the Sion vs Camille matchup was a problem, but that was not what caused him to lose so hard. When Baus gets rekt in lane, even if he dies again and again he keeps up in terms of cs and exp, but this game Viego and Alistar caused him to lose everything and die without getting anything, that's why he was so behind and couldn't do anything. I don't know if those guys knew how his gameplay worked or if Tfblade begged them to camp top, but that was the play that made them win.

10:28 huge mistake from Babus here. Given how Zeri is 0/7 and he is also 0/6 means they both give barely any gold, so I'm like 99% sure it's way more worth to just int into tower and try to 1 for 1, but even if it's 1 for 0 she gets gold reset and can't play anymore like Baus plays. She went on to die a lot more times during the game which would have resulted in a lot more gold for Baus's team. And even if she starts playing safer she would at least miss more side lane farm trying to do so. Like Baus got a gold reset for himself for 100 gold basically AND lost flash to Ali, very surprised it even happened tbh

There must be such a strange confliction of feelings being Baus's teammate. On one hand he takes all the pressure which frees up your lane, but on the other hand he's probably going to die a minimum of 10 times lmao. The W is all that matters in the end.

The best pick into TheBaus on Sion seems to be carry toplaners like Fiora, Camille, Riven, Gwen and Irelia, champions that usually have a bit sussy early lane but can completely take over if they get a lead. If you pick earlygame champs, squishy carries or tanks into Sion, it doesn't matter how fed you get, you wont be able to carry or if you're playing a squishy carry(Jayce, Vayne, GP, Akshan etc.) you wont be able to sidelane into a lethality Sion later on.

12:15 the reason baus has a shutdown and blade dont is not only because of the things midbeast says. It is true that he got some kills and plates after being 0/6 and therefore getting a shutdown, but blade and Viego doesn't have a shutdown cuz it balances off enemy average player, and when they have the samira who is 8/0 at the moment they are just a little ahead compared to the enemy average, but not enough to get a shutdown
