You cannot support something with a bigger base than the supporting spear armed warrior. So the orc could not support the troll. On the other hand, a troll with spear could support an orc.

Great battle report you forgot some rules and got some rules wrong. 15:00 you forgot to do terror checks for the elves charging the trolls. you do not gain the benefit of a shield while you have a bow even when mounted. you have to have expert rider. you can not support a base size larger than your base size but you can support a base size smaller than your own. only the models you charge get knocked prone so those who counter charged do not get knocked prone. All the elves have eleven blades so they win duel roles from 3-6 and evil wins on 1 or 2. 31:12 you got barge wrong. it is push away 3 in, no strikes and then you roll a d6 and move that much to move into another fight. magic happens in the movement phase 35:45 the throwing stone is 12 in range, to me that did not look like 12 in but I could be wrong. 37:16 for mounts you can chose which stat you can use. so for warg riders they can strike at strength 4 also for ringwraiths they lose a point of will for every combat they fight in. 41:45 there was a duel roll but the elf captain is fight 6 so they would have beaten gothmog. 41:18 you can not stand up if you are charged.

I missed out on the middle earth glory days and regret it. This new release has really got me interested.

Transfix would be cast in the move phase, not shooting phase, but ultimately wouldn’t matter unless the wraith was moving before the target of the transfix.

damn, a lot of missed rules here but besides that very enjoyable.

The takeaway here is even if they're not the skull dice, don't use Ash's blue dice.

@31:11 barge does not allow you to do to wound rolls, that is a heroic combat. You only have to call barge after winning the duel roll but instead of striking every model you are engaged with is moved 3 inch away in a direction of your choice and if no path of 3 inch is available they also go prone after which you get to move d6 inches and combat again

Not a huge issue but can lothlorien take 50% bows? I thought they were still restricted by the 1/3 rule. Great seeing MESBG on the channel! I'm still hoping you bust out some warmaster revolution at some point!

So many mistakes in this game, you guys should sit down and re read the rules. Here's the ones I picked up on: 1) you both rolled off to see who won the heroic, it's only the priority player who rolls, 1-3 goes evil player, 4-6 to good 2) not taking courage tests to charge the troll or the wraith 3) you ignored a few control zones, the first being the elf you charged the troll with, he entered the control zone of an orc, the trolls zone was already cancelled as he had already been charged by elves 4) you can't spear support unless the model being supported has the same size or smaller base size 5) you tried to cast a transfixed in the shoot phase after you engaged an elf in combat. Magic is cast during the models movement in the move phase 6) you did the barge completely wrong. The model losing moves back 3 inches and the troll then moves a D6 inches. The model moving back doesn't suffer any strikes 7) you didn't account for elvish blades on roll offs with joint duel rolls. Elvish blades win on 3-6, non elvish blades on a 1-2 8) every time a wraith is in combat they lose a point of will. Besides that, the general postponing and tactics were pretty dire on both sides.

Amongst the many rules you got wrong (which have been pointed out) when a model calls a heroic move they MUST move first and if they wish to move models within 6” they MUST call with me! When the captain called a move he wouldn’t have been able to charge to troll and his mates wouldn’t have been able to charge it either as the captain didn’t call with me! Would make the friendly suggesting to get the basics down before filming any content ❤
