Middle of Lidl special mini-test, and review; SilverCrest Air Fryer £39.99
These sell out really fast and air fryers are all the rage lately, with this one we feel they are perhaps jumping on the bandwagon because air fryers are so popular. This rather small air fryer from SilverCrest and Lidl is not especially good value for money at £39.99 and doesn't have the functionality of the digital type, but if your in the market for a small machine like this then check out the video to see how it looks and performs.

Another fun review offering, I managed to get an Air Fryer Oven for work 🤔 they maybe Healthier to cook with but now I eat much more as everything is so Yummy, 😜🤤 My spend on meals for work has tripled 🙄 I;m always in Iceland these days 🤣 Hope your all keeping safe & well & having a nice March ❤️☘️xx

I just got one of these, I live alone so the oven is such a hassle to use since I’m just one person and I wanted something smaller so this felt like something perfect to get. I thought I would check this video out before using it 🥰

Completely agree. My friend loves it as she lives alone and was cooking small items in her large oven but for my family the bigger ones are much better. We recently bought the dual air fryer which is fabulous for us. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.

Thanks for reviewing this, i was thinking of getting one. Also, a question if you can help.. If a product only has temperatures and times for a gas or electric oven, how do you know how long to put items in an air fryer for? Many thanks again.

Glad we could help. It’s just a case of practicing really. I tend to reduce the temp by 10-20°. And find it shaves 5-10 minutes off a 30 minute oven time. If you keep the temp same as oven the cooking time can be much faster. You can pull the drawer out and check progress at any time during cooking. Thanks for stopping by.

I never give it the full time just in case, I can monitor how it's cooking and also might turn the food over if necessary.

got one of these had over a year,but the handle came off in my hand when pulled to get air fryer out,luckily lidl are going to issue me a full refund.

Would Two or Three LARGE Jacket Potatoes fit into this, please ??? The BASKET looks rather SMALL.

Depends on the size but this is very compact and doesn't hold much :o)

That’s a shame. This will have a 3 year warranty. Just return it to the store with your receipt and Lidl will either swap it or refund you. Hoe this helps.

No. You can pull the drawer out any time during cooking to turn, shake or move the food around.

Just bought one of these. It's USELESS! And going back. The airflow isn't strong enough to cook evenly. Chips come out half-raw and half burnt.. and that's despite shaking the basket several times during cooking and being sprayed with a fine coating of oil. I've done far better chips on a fine mesh tray in a conventional oven. And if this so-called air fryer can't do good chips, then it's of no use to me. This is just a small fan-oven. Not a true air-fryer. Also the cheap mechanical (clockwork) timer is grossly inaccurate and gives a shorter time than indicated.
