It conceals the shape of their helmets and therefore of their heads, making it harder for snipers to shoot their heads. Aditionally, they are harder to spot and the sunlight isn't reflected by their helmets. Theoretically, that is. But since the IDF holds on to this concept, they benefit from it I guess.

Modern armies, such as the German army in which I served, do the same thing actually. So there is kind of a net wrapped around your helmet very tightly and you can squeeze some grass and moss in it, mostly depending on your environment (forest and mostly green environment here in Germany), which very much does the same thing. It conceals the shape of your helmet and makes you harder to spot.

That does not justify anything. If I come and take over your house (village in this context); whether I do it nicely or not the fact is I am taking your damn house. Stop being so biased and stop making up your baseless narrative.

In regard to the first link you wrote, if you will look at the bottom of the video you will see the Israeli channel 13 news logo (The biggest or second biggest news in Israel), to the right of it it's written in Hebrew: "Shocking footage: border police torture Palestinians who come to work in Israel", so if anything, that video show that this conduct is considered immoral in Israel and my guess is that those soldiers got trialed for that. I actually saw the second video at the news (the video itself doesn't show an Israeli logo this time) and I remember how furious I was about that! in regard to that instance I know that the soldiers did got trialed for that. I would also like to add that they didn't shot him with live ammunition but with rubber bullets if I remember correctly (notice that there is no blood in the video) so saying that he got shot may lead to wrong thoughts, but again, I highly oppose this kind of things and I would l be very happy if all those soldiers would find themselves in jail for few years for that as it's an highly immoral act.
