I purchased Science in the Atomic Age after seeing it in one of your previous videos. It has been one of our favorites too!

That is awesome! Thank you for letting me know. If you don't already, please follow me on Instagram as I show many of our experiments there. I would love to hear how you like the experiments and how they are working for you.

Thank you!!!! We loved making it. I'm guessing it's going to be a standard for all hard-back books moving forward. :)

Did you buy a lab kit to go with the science book?

I did! I purchased the one from Rainbow Resources for the Science in the Atomic Age. It has been a game changer. It's so convenient to have the materials for the science experiment in one box. There have only been a few times when I've had to purchase materials for the experiments (like red cabbage, ammonia, etc). The experiment kit was one of my favorite purchases this school year.

My kids could not get into the Who Was series. We actually went the American Girl route for 8th grade history.

I do! It allows the freedom to free range our research points and choose what we add and not use for our history. @@HomeschoolwithJen

There are 3 volumes. Each volume contains 10 lessons. We may return for a review next year, but using each lesson for 6-7 days will result in us completing the 30 lessons in one year.
