Maybe Boro & Villa can find some middle ground? Possibly making an agreement for him to stay at Boro till the end of the season, Villa will have a figure in mind & won't stray far from that, you can be sure they'll have other targets, or maybe try again in the summer? If he came to Villa he would do well being coached by Emery, as he's improved every player at Villa & is well known for doing the same at previous clubs. I know the lad is from the Birmingham area, but not sure what club he's a fan of?... Up the mighty Villa!!!!

Yes, that could be a good solution. Not sure what club he supports either, although he was part of the West Brom academy as a kid. Personally, I think there's a deal to be done that could suit everyone!

He's getting there. The improvement has been huge and I think he'll be there soon enough - but I do agree that I'm not sure he's ready for the PL yet!

We paid around 2 million give or take but City have a high sell on clause so most likely around 40% so we're holding out for as much as we can get.
