Big mistake to sell coburn!gives us something different headers and direct play!

Selling Josh would be a massive mistake and there's a lot of people talking bollocks about his situation. For me he's got to stay.

If Josh has the ability, the qualities you mention and the right attitude on and off the pitch, he would fit perfectly into the Millwall setup. Tippy-toe football and poncing around like ballerinas isn't our style because it is, as you say, gun-ho and up-and-at-em, otherwise known as direct football. We're adding more dimension to that approach but it's this style that get's the fans and the team going- and the results. Loan players who fit into this mould and embrace the very special team camaraderie love their experience and want to stay with us, Japhet Tanganga being a fine and our latest example.

We at Millwall have the players that run channels but we do need a Josh type of player as a nr 9 to play off.....welcome at millwall

Millwall fan,it would have to be a transfer ,why Millwall would want a loan to do a rival a favour and try to bring him on for boro wouldn’t sit right,obviously the fee would have to sit right for boro,or any other champ intrest,but realistically boro would want a fee.

For me, Josh is gonna have a very bright future. I’m Just sad that Boro aren’t going to be patient and show him the loyalty that he deserves. He’s great at holding up the ball and when given the chance he’s a natural goal scorer, both scrambling and direct. Coburn could be reuniting with the ginger Messi. Thing is I just don't see us getting a decent price for Josh but for all his industry he does not score too often, not a problem for a team using him to hold the ball up and do knock ons but that just is not Boros game. With academy graduates though the heart always comes into play, I can not really fairly judge our academy players.

Great video mate! I couldn’t agree more, I think we will be playoffs definitely 4th or 5th, agree regarding our defence letting us down for top 2 but you never know. Interesting how confident you are in Hamilton and Conway. Hamilton will join, I think we will get Conway eventually, Giles is the only one I’m worried, I don’t know if Scott will wanna wait until too late into the window, however, we’ve not been linked with any other LB’s so that tells me we’re still confident we can get him cos WE DESPERATELY need a LB. That'll be a great signing if Micah Hamilton signs, he could be massive in attack, really excited about that one tbh. Not sure if Tommy Conway will be onboard this season though Phil, like you say £5M is a big chunk of money, especially if we're forking out £3.5M for Hamilton who has come through the City system. I do rate Conway as a player though in all honesty, in fact if Michael Carrick does manage to get him onboard then I really believe that he could make this lad a real star for us and very good top quality striker due to his track record of bringing the best out of the younger players. Promotion wise I do agree and think we could certainly get into the play offs (even autos if we start off well), I'll go for a 4th place finish. Roll on the season. UTB. 🔴⚪

Looking at the early fixtures, Boro couldn't possibly have a tragic start to the season like the past few. But these games will be an indication of whether or not their automatic promotion material. Which some of latest predictions have Boro finishing 2nd or 3rd. But their predictions. Hopefully they'll be spot on. I'll go with 3rd place, early days though.
