What I read about the market for live concert tickets confirms your opinion. Classic acts are able to charge premium prices for their tickets 🎟️.

What's wrong with baggy pants? It literally has not effect on the music. Elton John performed in leotards, Michael Jackson in tight leather pants. How's about you leave your prejudices at home and just enjoy the music and accept the fact that some things aren't for you and that's okay.

Telling historical document. The stage manager tried to play them off when their time was up by fading out the band. Around 316. And they kept singing, and then they faded out more. Finally Gladys tells the boys "f*** this" and stalks off. Good for her. Crappy end to what had been a great performance. They were just just getting ready to air it out with a big finish, which is sometimes one of the nicest things about these Midnight Special clips. Oh well.
@Largo3point06 ай бұрын
Your comment is patently ridiculous. This was a staged and rehearsed ending.
@luisarguello37916 ай бұрын
@@Largo3point0 It didn't seem ridiculous to me, without a doubt something happened at the end, they sang a few more seconds of the song but the stage director wanted to cut it and the people started applauding too until Gladys decided to get up and leave. I thought their performance was wonderful, they were great talents in soul music
@briankeegan80896 ай бұрын
@@Largo3point0 You're blind. They wanted to keep going.

Whether rehearsed or not, I think it worked well with the live performance with the fading of the band playing and they continued to keep singing.

In her autobiography, Between Each Line of Pain and Glory, Gladys Knight wrote that she hoped the song was a comfort to the many thousands who come each year from elsewhere to Los Angeles to realize the dream of being in motion pictures, television or music, but then fail to realize that dream and plunge into despair. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midnight_Train_to_Georgia
