You can be a tank. You conflate weapons and forget they get cards. The Hunter has MULTIPLE tank cards.

@@Adurnis That kinda works, I was thinking of a good way to keep Captain Marvel in Binary but Shield of the Seraphim only gives 2 resist and that is if you spend 6 Heroism. That is a bit steep price because I would rather use that Heroism while binary is active on Captain Marvel. That might work though because you could give concealment with Vapors if Captain Marvel's block is low while in binary. This means Captain Marvel won't counter which completely negates her passive. What happens if you give concealment to a character that taunts? You made me think of a different strategy though. Concealed Binary Captain Marvel.

They mentioned Power as the third option, which I guess is the neutral path.

Dark Hunter can pair pretty well with Nico and Captain America because mindbender and mind breaker can be used strategically to keep Nico full hp and enemies focused on Cap long enough to get the right rolls on roulette. I’m loving the potential team comps so far especially for the various mission types. The Hunter is such a sick character.

@@MrLeafy77 somehow I just expect the specs to be distinctly different - melee vs ranged or aoe Vs single target, etc not just different flavours of melee. I guess we'll see when it releases, just a bit disappointed for now

In a game like this, where you can move pretty much anywhere on the battlefield, I don’t think the difference between ranged and melee matters as much.

Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical at this new gameplay holding up to Slay the Spire kind of depth. The cards seem very different and it's not a roguelike. I do hope they have innovated something great here.

I wouldn't say "Just turn based card game" because of how the gameplay is but think what you want, in the end this game is what many who enjoy this genre wanted

What you described is what most casuals want. There has recently been many turn based rpgs coming out of the gaming world. Many people who enjoy this genre won’t have a problem with this.

Well, they took away the mechanics like franchising and hit chance, but here we always have it and we have the randomness of actions (cards).

The only one that was bad was the chimera,this Game works just like the others the difference is that the actions (cards) are random They had to adapt the gameplay Even because it's not a soldiers vs aliens game

@@AstaIsAMonster its different actually, its turn-based but less casual than this seems to me. It is on console,look for xcom 2 with The Chosen addon. Big game with lots to do, dynamic campaign where you can lose fights and go on, manage how you go about it, which missions u take on etc. Cool game, if u have patience to get into it, then u cant stop, fun figuring out your best option on each turn. Maps have even destructable cover, etc.
