Oh, I’ve come in from a little gardening and am sat knitting on socks and watching these little darlings! I am in love with Mabel’s ewe lamb…she is so cute!! Thank you for taking the time to show us a little chunk of your life😊🙏

You will be a tired puppy by June! Rams can be such a hassle. That little moorit ewe lamb is such a pistol! I love her.

A question Jenn,would you ever or have you whethered a ram lamb to save it for its fleece? If so would you have it live with the ewes and befriend it. I totally understand why you keep a distance from the rams, but whethers can be nice keeps. I love that little grey lamb that keeps getting lost😂

Hi Pat - we used to wether rams but don't any more - they are either used for breeding or market.

When you say "we won't use these for breeding,.." what do you do with them? do you sell them so others may breed them? keep them for wool? ....

Hi Jillaine - they could end up on another fiber farm or go to market. I don't have room for "non breeding" males so they won't stay for long after we decide on their status.
