I replaced the dingy blinds in my modular home with roller shades. They're easier to clean and no slates to get bent or broken.

A one level house always looks so appealing to me. With a 4 and 1 year old, it’s hard to get upstairs during the day to clean without them tearing some other part of the house up lol.

Loved the video! I have dark wooden blinds on my dining room and living room windows and they show every bit of dust in my house and I have to clean them constantly! What a pain in the butt! Lol Can’t wait to see your new kitchen set! ❤

I use to have metal ones and I would spray them with degreaser, let it sit for 5 min and then pressure wash them. They would be so white and clean

Great video! Thanks for the motivation. I need to scrub down a secretary desk I bought at an estate sale. It smells like an old basement, even though I wiped it down and let it sit outside in below freezing temperatures to kill the odor. It wasn't enough. 😬

i do cleaning for a living and whenever i deep clean a home (or my own) i use the bathtub to clean the blinds. I just put some hot water and cleaning solution and use a scrub brush❤

We replaced our carpet 2 years ago and I used to use that carpet powder all the time you would be amazed that all that powder stays in the rug and the place that put our new carpet down said that it is not good for the carpet don’t use it

Lowes has the metal blinds. And you’re right…they last forever ! They are more expensive initially but in the long run they are the best deal by far.

The handful of change on the bedroom floor is a daily here lol it falls out of my husbands back pockets soon as he gets home at night and changes 😂😂

Girl,I’m telling you,invest in a steam mop! I have hardwood throughout my home,too.They deep clean my floors so good&they dry in seconds!

You could have used a pressure washer or just a hose in a bigger brush there are large car brushes you can use So to make it easier instead of kneeling or sitting

I found myself getting annoyed at all the piles of laundry that I had too, but I was quick to remind myself of a time when I did not have a washer and dryer, at that time I wished to have a set of a washer and dryer so that I could do my big mountain of laundry. So I am so greatful for all the laundry that I have. Lol. Just a thought
