Try to look for a white stain for the wood. Stain is alot easier than paint in the long run. Your place is SO nice!

Can I make a suggestion? How about you put a long entryway table along the wall where your son’s room is? You could put your jug with the greenery on it and more decor. It could be a place to set keys and stuff like that when you come in the house. Just a thought! 😊

I've heard scrubbing the deck/patio with pine helps keep Flys and mosquitos away. Also heard spraying hydrogen peroxide helps 🤷‍♀️ but I haven't personally tried it.
