This machine is awesome.... other then the color and name, what are the differences between this and the C3 Brilliant?

This does not have the side lights like brilliant has, it comes with different accessories a flexible crevice tool and large multi-jointed soft dusting brush. it doesn't come with the "oversized parquet twister" (sbb400) instead does come with a switchable fool tool which I much prefer.

Thanks for your reviews and tear downs. I needed to replace our old kenmore canister and went with the shark vertex based on vacuum wars. It was crap. After an hour of use it was heavy, junky, I couldn’t figure out who this was for. It’s sucked down to the carpet so hard it was near unusable. Same for area rugs. Stopped by a local store and wife liked the Miele and got the standard handle. Got it home and she hated going back to the unit to adjust controls for our area rug. Local dealer let us upgrade to the control handle next day. No fuss. Glad we changed. That shark was trash.

I have a C1 Compact HomeCare. Great machine. The dealer gave me a great deal and free box bags and hepa filter.

Thanks for the link to purchase from. Amazon is listed as an authorized Miele store on Mieleusa, but I didn't know which Amazon store was authorized. Free one or two day shipping is awesome. Are all amazon stores authorized or only the "Amazon's Choice" stores? Also, how can a vacuum have high suction and lower airlfow, or high airflow and lower suction? I would think that the higher the suction pressure, the more airflow I'd get; as it's sucking in more air and a faster rate.

Hello! 👋 I wanted to know your opinion: Lindhaus cordless vs this Miele Homecare for a studio apartment. 500sqft. I love both but, wonder which would be more suitable. I have a tall carpet 10ftX11ft and a few other rugs on wooden floor. I love ❤️ your channel. Thank you so much for all your insights on so many vacuums.

Hi quick question! I noticed on the floorboard test (around 5:50 mark) you used the power brush. I thought the power brush should only be used for carpet? I just got a Miele Homecare+ (super excited!!) but pretty much a vacuum newbie as growing up we've just used crappy uprights my whole life so I'm trying to learn! Thank you so much! Great videos!

The brush roller can be shut off and used on hard floor if needed. But you're right generally you want to switch and put the hard floor tool on.

this is the perfect package, other than the all-teq garbage head. I tried it and it sucks (not in the compliment sort of way). I wish they just had a dedicated parquet tool like the SBB-300-3 instead. THEN it would be absolutely perfect!

That's what my local dealer said. He goes, "man that's a great package, but I wish they put the parquet tool like they have on the brilliance" he then proceeded to give me the parquet tool they package on the brilliance 😂😂

I just started using my new miele C3 this week. Is it normal for the exhaust air to be very warm? I apologize if that's a stupid question, this is my first high end vacuum.

Yes the exhaust air is warm on just about every vacuum.

My C3 blows 0 on my particle counter directly out of the hepa vent, but it does leak 10-50x ambient particles if I measure near the bag/hepa compartment seam on the left side of the machine (the right side doesn't leak). In your experience is that normal, or should it not be leaking at all?

Hi , Performance Reviews . From Miele Vacuum Cleaner C1 until C3 , does the four mini wheels below their bodies are made with rubber ? And , from 6:34 until 7:02 on this video , I do not hear the sound of the vacuum cleaner at all . Is it maybe the camera just records your voice only ? They have 3 non-marring caster wheels made of a proprietary material. Also there are voice overs done in a lot of these videos . Feel free to check out my latest review on the c3 cat and dog which I use a studio microphone to record the real sound of the machine if you want to know what that sounds like.

@@yellowinlady9952 I'm pretty sure "proprietary" means it's a business secret and they're not going to tell you, or their competitors. The customer has to be satisfied with "it won't scratch your floor."

How long are the hoses on the c3? I have a titan and I think the hose is too short. Hoping these are longer on the higher end machines

Not sure if this helps but Miele does make a hose extension. I think it's 4 foot.

How does this compare to a dyson upright in terms of suction and general pickup?

Well it gets embedded dirt and doesn't destroy your carpet like Dyson does. In terms of a natural power difference it's about twice as strong in terms of CFM about the same in water lift. It's also far less maintenance than a Dyson.

I think Dyson are very good for penis enlargement pumps but really do nothing for cleaning

Hi Do you know or could you please tell me how to fix a Miele vacuum hose that keeps turning the vacuum off. Either disable the remote on the handle or fix the problem. Thanks Dean

Then that's what it needs change the part out. Most of these had a five year warranty so if you're within that time would be no charge to you.

For the SEB 236 (which is in this video - the one with the headlight), I measure 3.75" to the top (lowest height setting - 1) For the SEB 228 (not in this video - larger one with no headlight), I measure 4.4" to the top (lowest height setting - 1) For the SEB 217 (not in this video - smaller one with no headlight), I measure 2.75" to the top (no height adjustment so will not change) HTH
