Does the cord reel on a C3 output 120v directly from the reel?

I just received an estimate for this repair $235. I'll try to fix it myself, nothing to lose. Can you tell me the part number of the cord reel? I have Olympus 300 which looks similar, same buttons, size etc but white. Since it's discontinued, Miele can't tell me the part number, or a suitable replacement part number. Thanks for any help and thanks for the extremely helpful video!

Hi Sharon! That estimate sounds just about right with installation, tax and maybe a filter. The cord reel is part number 10483322 and retail on the part is $143.13. Miele's parts stock has been kind of hit or miss since COVID, but it is showing that they currently have them in stock so online retailers should have them as well. Hope that helps!
