I just got a miele cat and dog recently for 74.99 it sounds perfect it only had a clogged in it but that was about it

Good review, nicely presented. Yes these have now been discontinued, I think to be honest, people just dont want such big cumbersome uprights any more, its all about cordless now, they are so much more convenient and lighter to use. I still have my S7, that I have had for over 10 years now, and it still comes out occasionally, but times move on, and I do prefer a lighter weight vacuum now for everyday use such as my Dyson V8, so whilst I think the Miele S7 was a beautiful machine, state of the art for its time, and effectively was like the top of the range BMW of the vacuum cleaner world, it is just too big and heavy now compared to modern vacuums. I would never get rid of it though, as its part of my collection. Even Miele have had to concede that they had to move to bagless and also to cordless to keep up with the competition, and I dont think they will ever launch another full size bagged mains upright again.

Had mine quite some time. Top of line model. No issues thus far. Have had it for 4 years at least. But I didn’t use it everyday. Used a shark lift away in-between. But love my Miele s7 swing model

awesome video Peter. its unfortunate they discontinued this machine however when it comes to German vacuums I prefer sebo uprights and miele canisters personally. as much as I like these miele uprights I have heard about a lot of issues with them especially for the average consumer but every machine has its flaws. I really enjoy your videos! 😃

I’m so lucky to still have mine, one basic and one top of the range. They are really good but soooo darn heavy 😂
