Love the sound processing on these videos. I find most airshow recordings intolerable. Jet acoustics can be very harsh on the ears. But your videos make them comfortable without failing to capture the sheer power of jet thrust!

Amazing aircraft!

It’s a great aircraft for its time… it’s primary success was hit and run.. but a kill is a kill. The biggest limiting factor was its range, the tactics employed. A good pilot with solid tactics it’s still deadly today.

Apart from Russia, no other country than India has invested so much in the MiG 21. Inducted in the IAF in 1961 India built close to 900 MiG 21,s of atleast 7-8 different variants under a licence agreement. The most advanced version of the MiG 21 the MiG 21 Bison will finally be going into the sunset in the year 2025. The Bison version of the MiG 21 were derived from the upgraded MiG 21 BIS and we're inducted between 1995 to 2002. All MiG 21,s will decommissioned by 2025. Indian Air Force has already decommissioned the MiG 25, MiG 23 & MiG 27 in 2006, 2009 & 2019 respectively, way before the MiG 21. Only the upgraded MiG 29 UPG now remains of the MiG series with the Indian Air Force and the MiG 29K for the Navy and they will probably remain in service till 2035.

Interesting how the pilot seems to have to fight roll-coupling and directional stability at times. His mental and physical workload must be enormous compared to the pilots flying the Typhoon, F16 and F18.

This thing might not have high end technology, but it will give hell to most fighters of today in a gunfight. That 23mm fires faster than a Vulcan and the plane itself is really a canopy attached to an engine.

I like this demo , the Mig 21 LANCER C has much to offer ,it is hard to be seen in combat ,and dogfights are done at 0.8 Mach @330knot (611 km )

They are cheap you can buy a flying one for private use for less than 200k and fly mach 2!!!! The only down side is that it's got a short range.

The F-4 Phantom Ran wonderful and was very reliable the issue was with it is the majority of them had no Machine gun on them which was big mistake and both Russian and American missiles where still fairly new and only had an Accuracy rate of 60 percent the MiG-21 was a great 👍🏻 fighter good to see the old bird still burning up thousands of dollars worth of fuel for are enjoyment

Cool jets, rugged. Pretty standard euro demo, no rhyme or reason to anything being performed, hodgepodge. No point rolls, no minimum radius turn, no high alpha flight.

Old but not that obsolete, like the classic AK, great to see old birds still fly, shame its being abused and blown up by sand or curry pilots who think its easily matched with mordern tech, its may be good but not that good.
