I’m so honored to know I had a great uncle who made such an imprint on his loved ones, and Calypso music. May the heavens continue to hear his beautiful voice.🙏🏿👼🏿

Woow! as a kid back then in Africa when we knew nothing about the geographical location of countries, we listened when some well traveled grown ups played similar 🎵songs and sometimes these songs are blasted by some radio 📻 stations and we were so fascinated about the story lines, Now i'm a grown man living here in New York city and about 2 months ago someone shared a ✂️ cut video clip of the song titled "Crazy - In time to come " and after listening to that great song i have been hooked to all Calypso songs 🎵 And so as an African here in the United States i want to say a very big thank you to the Nation of Trinidad and other Nations who invented, developed and contributed this great sounds and enjoyable story-lines people around the world have been enjoying! 🙏🏾We are proud of you all ✊🏿💖

The golden years of calypso ❤️. I never really understood what my parents meant when they would say " back when music was music " until i started listening to music like this. ❤️❤️

Calypso in its greatest form. Makes sense, yet shows it's humorous side. I grew up listening to these maestros, the likes of which we do not hear again.

I haven't heard this one in years! I laughed as hard as the first time I heard it. And I found my body responding to the sweetness of the horns. Lyrics as witty as calypso is supposed to be and sweet horn arrangements. This is music! Thanks for starting my dsy right!
