Honestly, Johnny’s statement wont necessarily matter since johnny didnt witness how much robby did learn from Daniel and a mentally nerfed miguel was fighting very relative to a balanced, two armed robby

Bro what Robby after gaining focused literally low diffed Miguel, Miguel literally couldn’t even tag Robby who had a injured shoulder and Miguel wouldn’t even be mentally nerf the argument of him being mentally nerfed because of Sam’s is the most brain dead argument I’ve ever heard 😭

@@Matchstick778 if u watched their first round, robby was focused and his injury was healed as stated by the doctor. And miguel was nerfed cos he was enraged, therefore he wouldnt be able to focus on

@@Matchstick778 I think it's because Miguel was able to keep up with Robby who knows Kata which KK3 Daniel knows and the statement of Sam hurting a Post KK3 Daniel's jaw making him eat soup foods for a week or so and due to that reason he would just upscale Johnny's AP and Skill

@@Storm_editz354 performing the same technique doesn’t put you at the same level in skill for example if me and Mike Tyson can perform the same technique does that put me at the same level skill? No it does not it wouldn’t make sense and the characters in season 5 which are superior to season 1, Tory broke her hand while breaking the stone dummy if you say that S1 > KK3 in AP that wouldn’t have made sense by then Tory would’ve been able to break it with no effort but clearly she broke hand in the process meaning couldn’t the force of her own attack

1984 Johnny would obliterate Miguel. What most people don’t understand is that KK1 Johnny is on the same level as Cobra Kai Johnny in terms of skill considering Johnny completely gave up karate after his loss to Daniel so it wouldn’t make sense for his fighting skills to improve as he got older if he wasn’t training. It makes sense for characters like Daniel and Chozen but not Johnny. And it’s already been proven that both Miguel and Robby still have a lot of catching up to do before they reach Johnny’s level considering Robby could barely land a hit on Johnny during their fight in Season 3 and this was only an episode before Robby took down an entire dojo. Maybe a fight between Robby and Johnny would be closer in Season 6, who knows but him and Miguel are clearly not on that level yet.

No, this is just so wrong. Sure maybe early S1 Johnny is relative to 1984 Johnny but his skills definitely improved in S2 and went on to improve throughout all seasons. Remember he was able to keep up with Daniel who was able to beat Terry, who was able to give Chozen a challenge.

@@SyllatheSpiderNerd There’s no proof his skills improved in Season 2 and it wouldn’t make sense for them to improve anyway. 1984 Johnny was honing his skills for years whereas Cobra Kai Johnny just got back into it so whether or not he improved is pure speculation.
