I love the rich sound of this recording. I also enjoy the album art, I think I can understand what Gardiner was trying to distill.

Bez wątpienia chóry anielskie dołożyły się do śpiewu w samym wykonaniu krótkiego Magnificat w 40 minucie nagrania.

A woman from Africa with a neck ornament has no relationship to this spectacular music. Unfortunate choice.

That's torture. I can't understand this choice. "In 2008, the UNHCR encouraged a boycott by tourists visiting Kayan villages, considering that women [wearing neck rings] were exhibited like in a human zoo."

@Louise Aubeux Je suis de votre avis. J'estime Sir Gardiner suffisamment pour lui faire confiance dans son choix, qui "sort des sentiers battus". Et puis, on n'a pas besoin de regarder cette couverture de CD ! La relation Bach-Gardiner est de l'ordre de l'osmose. Merci Miguel Zampedri pour ce cadeau !
