I like the idea of the bit extension and extra bits for your kit. I have both the Milwaukee 6 in 1 and Knipex pliers. Great video.

Might have to pick up one of those fastbacks to replace the basic old stanley in my toolbox. Much more useful. And the Knipex pliers are a must. Thanks for sharing 😁

It's Ok too carry it if needed for your job. Otherwise not legal carry in public. Can be used at home though.

Surely this can be carried in the UK if you remove the blades ?

Yes it can. You would have to have the blades in a tool bag/box. Unless it is needed for your work and you are on your way to a job. Then it should be OK to carry it with blades.

I like the Milwuakee but it's just too bulky imo. But along the same vein you could do a Topeak mini ratchet + bits + Knipex pliers+ Victorinox Rambler. 6 ounces total. (but of course it depends on how many bits you bring). The nice thing about the Rambler is that also includes scissors, toothpick, tweezers

What about the gerber slim drive? It has a blade, bottle cap lifter, and double sided 1/4" bit extension but the only downside is the bit extension doesnt lock, which is normally not that big of a deal. But if you want a smaller foot print, the slim drive is much more compact.

Great suggestion. For the US that would work really well. For the UK it's a problem as it has a locking blade. It would restrict it too being a car or house toolkit which wasn't the idea for this particular kit. I will work on a next size up toolkit.

Been carrying the fastback at work for a good while now. Really good. I wonder if you could carry it without the blade fitted? The spare is pretty much unnoticeable in the storage area 🤔

Possibly carry it without blades... They could be in a tool bag/box
