As an Australian (vouyeur) I've enjoyed both Stephen and the Morning Joe (and maybe-you-should-let-me-speak-Mika) discussing the American experiment. What I reflected most upon was the sanity of a middle-yearning-Western view... where we we have been told for the last 10 years that the middle was death. The middle doesn't mean giving up your ideals (left or right) but it means understanding there are two halves, and at the end of the day, they all make for one whole.
@tima9790

As a fellow Aussie, we inadvertently used Morning Joe to put our twins to sleep and are very grateful that daylight savings is now over in the US 😂 But, yeah, I agree with you. The problem with the US, however, is that they're a survival of the fittest nation. If our healthcare and worker protections were taken away, I guarantee, we'd quickly become a lot more like them..

I never heard any of fellow Canadian called themself life long Liberal, NDP or conservatives. I voted for each one of the party in different election. Why American doesn’t want to have a more caring society and have universal health care is beyond my understand.

@rb032682 3 жыл бұрын
@@philipthomey7884 - Here is my recipe: Start with about 7 to 14 grams of flowers. Freeze the flowers (if you are not in a rush). Grind the flowers. Place ground flowers in a 22cm square baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake ground flowers for 110 minutes at 110°C. Just remember "110/110". I usually cover the top aluminum foil while everything is cooling so any cannabis vapors condense on the glass for later recovery. The baked flowers are placed in a small wide-mouthed pickle jar. The flowers are covered in either 151 rum or 151 Everclear. Place the lid on the jar and shake it up. Let it soak as long as possible while shaking occasionally. I use a potato ricer to squeeze the solvent and the goodness from the vegetation. Put the vegetation back in the jar, add more alcohol, repeat the shaking and soaking and squeeze the vegetation to extract the goodness. This soaking and extraction step is usually completed after two times. At this point, you should have some 151 rum heavily infused with the essence of cannabis. You can either let the booze evaporate completely or partially, or keep the infused booze in a bottle. I usually take 1 or 2 teaspoons of tincture diluted with water in a regular shot glass. Frequency of dosage depends on my level of pain and discomfort. When diluting the tincture with water, the liquid will get cloudy. The more cloudy the mixture, the higher the percentage of cannabis essence. You can use other solvents such as isopropyl alcohol, or naptha, but those must be completely evaporated before the tincture is ingested. About once or twice per year, I make cornbread in the baking dish I use for tincture. It is some damn good corn bread. Good luck with tincture. Also check out RSO (Rick Simpson Oil. He's Nova Scotian), Phoenix Tears, and Green Dragon. My recipe is mostly RSO without evaporating the solvent. The cannabis must be heated at some point in the process. The heat activates the THC. Rick Simpson heats the mixture after extraction as part of the solvent evaporation. I prefer to heat the cannabis before extraction. I end up with less chlorophyll in the tincture. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

@@Mimi-cq4bg ? Sounds cowardly.... like the late great John Prine, if you can't relax and take it to the top with Willie Nelson, you're better off not bothering to light up. (or do the edible if you aren't going to inhale)

Ditto Stephen's sister: when I turned 50, it was a like a switch got thrown -- there was suddenly a world of things (mostly what other people think) that I stopped caring about. To put it in a nutshell, I can understand why nude beaches are mostly populated by older people, not the young ones who'd look better doing it.

Mika may have had a little too much of that fire water during the interview. I’m not mad though. She was comfortable and at home.

Why did they look like Stephen got the name of their show wrong when he closed out this clip? (Joe looked at Mika and she shook her head like “wtf that wasn’t right”)

Thankyou Colbert for pulling that stick out of CBS's arse about cannabis. Btw, you would be great to bake with, I'm sure, but keep your wits about you because you have a throne to defend. Do well.
