In this particular situation, I disagree. People can have valid thoughts and opinions on topics specifically relating to their area of work despite having done shitty things that are completely unrelated. At the end of the day, this little stunt will have an impact on the entire beauty community in terms of audiences not trusting the authenticity of influencers’ reviews of products and could lead to a loss of income and partnerships/sponsorships and collaborations in general. I’m by no means minimising the things that he has done (I’m not a fan of his content personally) however I don’t see the relevance. If he was calling somebody out for sending inappropriate messages, I could totally understand where you’re coming from but I think that it’s actually important that big creators are coming forward and giving their HONEST opinions because otherwise, they get cancelled for staying silent and becoming part of the problem.

Oh my goodness I thought I was the only one. I had weird feelings about her and couldn't connect to her personality. So I was sketchy and always skipped her tik toks. Don't forget about how many influencers are currently covering the mascara free of charge because of Mikaylas video.
