You know, early on when she first got famous on Tiktok, I could see why people liked her and she seemed nice enough at first but she wasn't for me personally... but now I genuinely wonder how people can like and trust her after everything she's done. Yes, people make mistakes but once or twice... Mikayla seems to make a mistake every 2-3 business weeks

For every useful makeup hack that shows up on tiktok and goes viral, there’s a Wayne Goss video posted 7 years ago where he’s talking about the same hack. She clearly never watched them that’s why her makeup looks like that.

I'm not even into makeup, but even I have heard of Wayne Goss 😂. His tutorials are so helpful for people who just want a fresh look. And he is like one of the OGs- highly respected. There's no way she has been in the beauty sphere without knowing about him

I haven’t had the pleasure of owning any Wayne Goss products yet, but after Mikayla trashed his products, I can’t wait to get some into my collection. I love natural makeup, and I can’t wait to get a few of his products after the holidays are over. I will say that the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk mascara goes on beautifully, but it runs everywhere under my eyes.

Mikayla has always been so sketchy to me. If she didn't become an influencer (aka manipulator), I feel like Mikayla would have become a psychic who scams vulnerable old ladies or maybe puts a hit out on her husband to cash in on the new life insurance policy she got for him. I'm not sure what upsets me more, the criticism of Koh Gen Do or Wayne Goss. They're two of my all-time favorites. But then again, those products are great for looking very natural on the skin, whereas Mikayla is looking for something heavy duty to spackle on her face to wear like a complete mask. I know there's technically no "wrong" way to apply makeup, but she's so wrong to talk shit about great brands just because she has poor taste in makeup and wants to shill for whatever garbage company that will pay her.

You might not realize that Trisha tried to do a subscription box called Bitch Box. I saw some being unboxed and they were terrible! All AliExpress junk that wasn't worth anywhere near the price of the box. The reviews were so uniformly awful that her box died after only a couple of months. So Trish is right there scamming people.

What bugs me about that video specifically is that IMO makeup is trial and error. Certain things don’t work with others, they’re a learning curve and might take a few times to figure out if you truly like it. She immediately said “I hate it” when it’s literally the first time (allegedly) using the brand and product.

If she ever worked as a makeup artist then she knows there is a time for both, I love a fun editorial bright eyeshadow and neon lines etc with a full coverage and heavy contour and green high lights is so fun. Think Jeffery star product launch photos. I also love doing a really stunning "natural" that is anything but simple and easy because that takes skill and the experience knowing that you need more of the less pigmented and buildable yet never cakey and Just perform no matter what . You can even build those up dramatically like the Wayne Goss duos. Trust me if she did a person's makeup like she does her for being on camera the person would not be happy because it'll look terrible in the sun or brightighta but great on film videos and photos. She honestly only likes who pays her these days and wonder what she actually uses everyday off camera
