Alstott is the essence of what makes football a great sport. When he gets the handoff or catches the ball he has one all-consuming desire - move forward no matter what. And the guys on the other side have one objective, too - to stop him. What takes place at the point of contact is 100% football. The sheer will of one man against the will of 11 others. This guy is football. It's why I watch.

Speed, power, balance, great hands. Amazing! Could not play in today's nfl because no one runs anymore. Qb is now in gun, no more fullback, all small, fast skilled guys.
