Been a giants fan all my life. We all know Eli isn’t great anymore but we’re not saying he is. The only thing we’re devastated about is how the organization is treating their greatest quarterback who’s brought them to the promise land NOT ONCE but TWICE!! Eli is a legend wether you people like it or not.

I've been a Saints fan since 1979. The events today make me feel like it was just like listening to Bum Phillips announce that Archie Manning had been traded to the Houston Oilers. What a sad day for the NY Giants as a franchise.

John Mara should be completely ashamed of himself for allowing this to happen and for not distancing himself from these two complete buffoons by now before they tarnished both ths team and the face of the team since 2004. I'm embarrassed to be a giants fan today. Eli deserved better than this.

I'm an Eagles fan, to hear the way the front office are treating a SUPERBOWL winning quarterback, in order to tank for the draft is disgraceful! Eli has carried the the franchise. No OBJ this season and the coach pins this on Manning. Absolutely no grace or respect!!!!!!

EXACTLY. I can't believe how stupid Francessa is. They are TOTALLY TANKING. They'll trade Eli and package the 2nd or 3rd pick they'll get for him with their other first rounder to get one of the PAC12 guys in California. Count on it. The value of Eli? that's why he's getting benched... So he has trade value and his injury chances are minimized. Dang, Mike, the cap hit on releasing him is enormous.

I'm losing my love for the game of football as well as the Giants. I'm so beyond hurt by the franchise. On top of the entire protest BS, the Giants have to make the dumbest decision and the most disrespectful decision possible. I can't stand what is happening to the game of football right now... the NFL needs a major competitor to get back to its former glory.

Its not about who plays QB, the coach and GM are throwing a Hail Mary, fair or not. If they can have success with Gino it validates their program and the idea that Eli was a liability. It sucks for Eli but McAdoo is trying to resurrect his professional reputation, which is probably toast anyway.
