As others have mentioned, Angelina will be 15 on Jan. 10, but she hasn't been a "little" girl for a couple years. She now stands over 6 foot tall, and I have seen estimates of 6' 4". Angelina is an old soul, and she has so many songs that will leave you in awe. She is currently 14 years old and came to the U.S. earlier this January to perform on America's Got Talent: The Champions and performed Bohemian Rhapsody and shocked the audience and judges. She got the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum and went straight to the Finals. She wowed the crowd and judges again when she performed Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John. In her live studio recording of that song, one can see her, a six foot one or two inches at fifteen years old, singing with the mastery and the assurance of a seasoned vocalist, and hear her pronouncing differently the word "alone" four times in her song and being inspired by Dimash's signature near the end, which is a sudden stop in her loud screaming, followed immediately by a switch to a softer tone: just remarkable! My introduction to Angelina was on her first appearance at Norway's Got Talent and I didn't expect much from a 7-year-old. Just a cute little girl, all nervous, rushing the song in parts, hesitating and then stumbling over or forgetting her words and generally acting her age and doing her best to get through a childish song like "Twinkle, twinkle little star". What did I see? Well, it was a seven-year-old child, with wild hair and gaps in her mouth, where there once were baby teeth. And that was when the normal perception ended and things turned upside down. She confidently answered the questions put to her by a Judge. Declared she was going to sing a song by the legendary Billie Holiday. Gestured off-stage for the technician to start the music and then started singing. The body of the 7-year-old was still there but the voice wasn't. Or was it? I was surprised then and that surprise is still with me, some six years later. I have followed her career since I saw that first video on KZfaq and in the six years she has been singing publicly she has mastered many musical genres, including Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz, Pop, R&B and Soul, EDM and Rock and covered songs first performed by many famous singers, like Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Lana del Ray, Avicii, Bill Withers, Gloria Gaynor, Andy Williams, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong and many others. This is a very low key introduction to Angelina. Kind of more of a throat clearing than anything else. Bigger things will be coming, but while for most artists her age this would be some sort of high water mark, Angelina has been operating at a professional level she she was still losing her baby teeth.
