I was a person who listened to EDM and Rock a lot but when I discovered Aurora, I spent almost all of my day, putting my earphones on, riding a bike doing some work while listening to her music. Her music has some thing unique, distinctive frim others. Aurora cured my depression from this dark world.

@Michael Vlassakis I like how music is so subjective I read that she said in an interview that she wrote this song after seeing a news story where a man killed his wife, Apparently she had a rare disease that had no cure and he said that he did not want to see her suffer and see her life turn off so he killed her and gave himself up because knowing that she was going to leave her life had also ended, That's why he says "I know, he knows, he's killing me for mercy" is too psychotic but at the same time it could become understandable when you are in despair. complicated I still don't know if this will be true sorry if my english is not clear haha

well, one of a kind and super talented, she sings, writes lyrics, writes music, arranges, produces, plays instruments, dances, directs (for example a mv for a befriended band), maybe it would be quicker to write what she can't do. And besides her own songs, she also regularly comes up with amazing covers. Even Disney has discovered her, the high voice in the Frozen 2 score is her. Also, should you continue the journey to discover her, you'll find that she loves to come up with many variations of her own songs. For example her environmental hymn 'The Seed' exists on yt in many versions, one mv and many live, ranging from full band heavy sound to a version with the Bergen Symphonic Orchestra to a version with only her and her playing the piano, which she did for an online greenpeace event. Notable are full live concerts, such as the one at Nidarosdomen (largest northern cathedral, Trondheim), HAIK (in the forest), KEXP Iceland. Odd Martin, the guitar player you just experienced, was with her at the beginning of her career, then vanished for a while but recently returned at occasions. For example at the following show of the Norwegian Radio NRK kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ipx0gZV4vtyWp58.html where she plays 3 songs unplugged (the 3 songs can be found idividually, without innterview too).

Check out some of her interviews, she is funny, thoughtful, intelligent, quirky, extremely honest and wise beyond her years. There is a great one, with subtitles, from Norwegian TV of Aurora with her older sisters Viktoria and Miranda (who do her costumes and makeup). Aurora is a special gift from the forests, mountains and fjords, more precious than any gemstone. PS Remember, for a different Aurora, check out one of the live clips of "Conqueror" either the one from Jimmy Fallon's talk show or the one from the Honda Stage. Trust me, you will love her even more.

Great reaction guys. Odd Martin Skålnes (O.Martin) is the guy with her. He did release his debut solo album back in 2014 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rK9hnamG0Nyrhmg.html but the last years he has mostly worked as a producer and songwriter for different Norwegian artists (fex Sigrid). He produced Auroras debut album «All my demons greeting me as a friend» and has also produced and co-written other of her songs. You can also see him on many of Aurora’s earlier performances.

I know my reply is late...but every time I see this performance, the look in her eyes at times gives me a reference to someone who is in shock. Like if you've seen someone who's been traumatized and they have that look in their eyes as their brains try to process or stop processing as a survival tactic... I think it is very fitting for the subject of the song and adds a nice, subtle touch to her physical performance.

A lovely reaction to one of my first songs I heard from AURORA five years ago. Along with the first song I heard from her Runaway from the same concert, she quickly became my favorite singer and she still holds first place in my world. Your patreon chose by far the best performance in my eyes anyway. It has one of the strongest performances I have ever seen of anyone. Her whole register of fear in her eyes to the weeping tones is in master class. A song that is even more beautiful and haunted is Lucky live from Nidarosdomen kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d9OEnNSDl8W6cas.html The tension in that song is so intense and with an arrangement that is otherworthly is fantastic and it does not get worse that she wrote it when she was nine years old. Have a great evening and stay healthy

This is the first video I see of you guys, but I assume it's just how you are, happy people who carry big smiles around (the best of ppl - imho). However, both sitting there with a big smile - 30 seconds into the song both your smiles completely vanished. That's the true testomony to Auroro's song and performance. Oh, again, so wonderful to watch how Aurora's music is resonating with you so strongly, Ginger; had to click the sub button for that :) (Not to throw any shade on you here, Mike, but Ginger wearing her feeling on her sleeve is a bit of balm for the soul :) ) I won't reiterate all my annoying suggestions from your last Aurora reaction, but I'll add my voice to those who are suggesting the VEVO Stripped version of "Through the Eyes of a Child". (Also, one I don't think I harped on last time; if you are looking to react to (or just listen to) her version of Bowie's "Life on Mars", I strongly suggest the NRK version where she plays the piano and sings on her own; rather than the "Live at Nidarosdomen" one. Not a bad word about the guy playing piano for her there, but it's just those extra few degrees more organic when she plays it herself, and gets to dictate the tempo and express herself 100% without having to 'feel' for the music - super-synchronized though they are.)

Another haunting and eerie song by this magnificant creature. 🤔 I don't understand how you can react to a song with such heavy content and not notice this? Or you ignored this because it is very uncomfortable maybe? Watching your bodylanguage I sincerely doubt you got the lyrics at all. How is it that English speaking people don't hear the meaning of the lyrics? I gave a thumbs down for this. I think a song reaction is a good one when all aspects of it are addressed, sorry.

Do you even realize that you are listening to a murder song? This song is about somebody being murdered, your fake smiles are not what we want to see, what I look for in reactors is authenticity, not fake smiles during a murder song, this is one thing I don't like about you two, I look for authenticity of true emotion and true feeling and how music actually affects you, if you are not touched by this song then something is wrong with you, this will be the last time I click on any of your videos, you better think about what I'm saying, because others will have the same response to your so-called reaction as I have.
