I totally agree the game is stale bro the pros only play it and compete because they have already invested so much time with the title but for me I went back and started playing MK11 and I must say I really do appreciate that game so much seriously it’s a great game , better customization, better brutalities , more endings more taunts and intros it was just a great overall game yes it has flaws but man it’s a fun freaking game ❤️

so one last point to the arch type stuff; I think if they designed more characters like Tekken 8's Asuka then it would be so much better. To me she represents a fun, able to understand and grow into character; my first main was Kuma (he has a bunch of stance stuff so he can be super hard to know what to do). Asuka can be super technical or just bnb. Not too many moves but has enough to give variety. Thats what MK needs, more able to grow into characters can potentially reach "top tier status" with the right player behind the character.

My only prob with people is they play like maniacs in MK1. For example when Sonic or Foxy shows you how to play the character they like. These mf's just go off by what these pro's give and just spam those same moves! They don't explore the move sets, cos people play like dogs

@@JosephDGuedes I don't think you understand my post. This game was clearly injustice 3 and changed mid development into MK1. Omniman and Homelander was Superman they just split his move set into two different characters.

They were better in mkx. They dropped the ball with them in mk11 with all that customization crap. Not to mention the handicapped gameplay compared to mkx

Mkx was a good start to variations but the drawback to having variations is that some characters won't have 3 strong versions and some will. Honestly an idea that nrs could try (for future games too) is to give throws a universal tech button. I think it could "force" them to take a fully thought route with the characters moving forward...like injustice but with the speed and meta of mk. They make throws faster on startup a bit so that way they won't be entirely useless to/against the great throw tech'rs of the scene

No man it's the same as mk1 people only used 1 thing dividing characters that only have 4 special moves and 4 strings is not it. Moral kombat needs legacy add more moves or fix the strings 50% of strings are not used they are so bad.

Why do people think variations cant work,I mean do you think they cant have more time working on them,to the point where variations of one character would share strings,but add a couple of more strings based on what the variations should do,and special moves, Im certain that it can be done and I wish they go in that direction.Also it would be cool i we could switch variations or styles on the fly in the match.Imagine you play sub zero,slowly getting your opponent to the corner,you do some hard knock down,and switch style to be rush down 50/50 monster and keep pressuring your opponent in the corner,I dont know it sounds cool to me.

What if you played a sport, and literally a week and a half before your regionals, playoffs, whatever it may be, a new rule was put in place. This new rule either affected how you like to play your sport or make you inable to play it at all. That would piss you off. Instead, they are going to wait til after the tournament to put it in the rule book, that way nobody will have any issue at the tournament. The only reason you don't care about that is because you don't play pro. If you did, you'd 100% be happy that they aren't going to put in new moves or strings, change the frame data, and entirely change up the meda a week before this big tournament.

@@TheNikolaYo I don't play in tournaments, but I do play in KL for the majority of the time I am in the game, and you can see the changes even there when balance changes happens. KL is meant to simulate what the pro seen is like. For example, I used to barely see Rain or Havik that often because people saw them as bad or lacking. After the patches from the begin of last season, I've been seeing them a lot more. They got buffed, so people find them more viable.

Why? In MKX we had 2 slasher villans. In MKX we had to Aliens. In MK11 we had to cyborgs. Them being similar at the basic level doesn't mean they aren't different characters. They have entirely different move sets. They aren't going to play the same.

Those characters in MKX/MK11 were not clones of another character. Their differences were much more apparent. Even if their movesets/backstories aren’t exactly the same, Omni man and Homelander are both takes on an evil Superman type of character. Put them in injustice if you want superheroes.

Omg thank you someone with a different opinion. I’ve agreed with Tom in something’s here and there of the issues of MK1, but ever since his videos of mk11 I have always been wary of him. That’s why I’ve always taken his content with a grain of salt because he has appeared to be so inconsistent with his state of mine with the game. Correct me if I’m wrong but I remember in one of the last podcasts that he had with Franco and the other guy, didn’t he say that he was positive of mk1 one now and that he wants them to do better, but here in this video he tells Mike that no I don’t have hope for this game which is how he started off with criticizing this game that it was bad and there is no hope for it. Plus he made a video saying he wouldn’t speak of mk anymore because apparently people had stated that he was being to negative, but all I see in his comments are people agreeing with him for the most part. I can’t help to remember that’s exactly what happened when he was making videos on mk 11 he said the same thing, just to come back and make more videos on how bad mk11 is when I thought he was done talking bout it. Honestly Tom makes some good points, but I do think he is a shill in his own little bubble.

Say that to how much discount the game has, In Mexico with FP1 the game is 675 pesos, is super cheap, the game isn't selling well.

It's not new. It's happened before with Mortal Kombat VS DC. I feel like most of the guest characters don't fit in Mortal Kombat. Did Predator, Leather Face, or Alien fit in Mortal Kombat X? In my opinion, no, but people accepted it. They accepted it because those characters were fun in the game. I'm honestly not sure if it even matters if a guest characters fit in the game. They are likely only going to be in one game anyway. I say let them exist for that one game.

@@jaxfan more like you misunderstood the point of my comment, MK1 is designed in a way that it encourages people to run away if their kameos aren’t available, that’s not a character specific problem, but peacemaker + Kano is a great example. All kameos should have been built like Mavado, only usable if your mid juggle, and make them always available with a limit of 2 kameo uses per combo

@jakubcislak9246 not all characters need cameos. Johnny, ermac, ashrah, kenshi, Baraka, tanya and a few others. Characters like sub, havoc, scorpion need their cameos. Why do you hardly EVER see johnny use star power? He doesn't need it. A cameo for him is a boost to his abilities. A cameo for sub is a necessity. Tyler need to make all characters like johnny and tyne rest of the top 8

Last month titan battle made no sense for rain to get health back maybe nitara it was tedious, an tge memory for this game makes no sense either 137gb was already walking a tight rope I did like the combo challenges that's about the only thing in invasion that was new, but they messed it up for ppl that like it an it was only a hand full lol
