Seattle was 10th in the league with sack’s @48? I believe…Obviously sacks help a defense tremendously, but if you can’t get off the field, especially on 3rd down, it doesn’t matter how many sacks you accumulate. But I agree with you that this defense should be better than last year’s defense. The talent is definitely there! Seattle needs to improve their run defense and creating more turnovers, via INT’s, fumbles recovered, tipped passes, etc. If Coach Mac can turn this bottom of the league defense into a top 10-15 unit, and if the O-line can stay healthy, there’s no reason for Seattle to score 30 vs anyone! Seattle’s got 1 of the best WR’er trios in the NFL, 2 damn good RB’s in K-9 & Charbonnet (Thunder & Lightning 🌩️!) And a very underrated 3rd down option in Kenny Macintosh! There’s a reason why Seattle let DJ Dallas leave in free agency… Lastly, I’m super excited to see how new offensive line Coach, Scott Huff molds this unit together! Last year @UW, Scott Huff turned Washington’s offensive line into the best line group in the COUNTRY❗️Hopefully he can find continued success at the NFL level. If Coach Huff can get the most out of his players? Then it should open up the run game, which will open up the play action, which should lead to deep shots down the field for Geno! Speaking of Geno, if he can return to his level of play in ‘22, then he should continue being the starter, but if his play continues to dip, then I really hope they give Yosemite Sam a chance at being the next franchise QB in Seattle! Things are certainly looking bright for the Seahawks!
