As a Bears fan I hope I'm wrong because he doesn't seem like a very good HC. When your an NFL franchise and you don't win for just shy of 12 Months that's a recipe for a FIRING. Rebuild or not.

All the comments here are talking about how claypool never had a good quarterback, look at what fields did without claypool. First off chase doesn’t like to block and is lazy. I got that notion when I sent in a redemption football card I bought of claypool in his rookie year and he had 2 years to sign the card for panini to send it to me and in those two years he never signed the card. I ended up getting a letter from panini saying claypool had never sent the cards back in after they paid him to sign them and I ended up getting an Aaron rodgers and cooper kupp parallel which was significantly worth less money at the time. Hated the guy ever since. He’s a lazy bum who never takes the blame and thinks he’s a top 3 receiver lmao

Claypool made no effort on the field on blocking or making catches. Just do some checking on that to see that for yourself. There’s plenty of video. A player that you would want on your team wouldn’t do that for any team that he has played for. There is no coaching or other players on your team that would influence you not making an effort. My understanding was he was a locker room cancer as well. Don’t get excited dolphin fans. I like your team and I’m rooting for you. so I hope I’m wrong. And I’m a Notre Dame fan too. But after what I saw in Chicago it’s bad bad news. The hopes of, “oh, but he will try for us” is a pipe dream. I hope I’m wrong.

No with Claypool you can see he is not in the right system. What he going in do in Miami is first, he won't be the primary receiver so that will take a lot of pressure of him. Second, they are going use as a receiver. If you look at what Pittsburg and Chicago tried to do they tried to use him like a tight end, because he is 6',4" and 230 pounds and he didn't want that role.

What made Calvin Johnson aka Megatron so unusual was that they made him the "F". So now you got a guy that 6',4" that running with 6' feet tall defensive backs and Calvin Johnson could out jump them. In any other team they would converted him into a tight end as well.

Claypool, properly motivated, is a force to reckon with. He’s a 6’4” and 238lb man who runs a 4.4 40 yard dash. His biggest problem has been the QB’s he’s had to work with the past 3 years. He seems to have gotten frustrated because his numbers have suffered and he’s coming into unrestricted free agency. He’s not going to have that problem in Miami. He’ll have a Top 5 QB throwing him the ball here. It’s up to him to make it work.

No, that's not the problem. The problem is that Pittsburg and Miami wanted to use him in a very conventional role more like a tight end and not a "F" receiver on a team. If Calvin Johnson aka Megatron wasn't on the Detroit Lions he too would been used as a tight end in most teams around the league.

The guy spent his entire football life dreaming about the NFL and he needs to be reminded that he made it and that this team is his last chance to remain there. Remember last seasons Thursday night game at Cincinnati in which Tua was knocked unconscious and was taken off the field on a stretcher. As he lay on the turf, his fingers displayed what’s known as the “fencing response,” which typically indicates a serious neurological issue. The symptoms of CTE include memory loss, confusion, impaired judgment, impulse control problems, aggression, depression, anxiety, suicidality, parkinsonism, and, eventually, progressive dementia. These symptoms often begin years or even decades after the last brain trauma or end of active athletic involvement. Remember, Tua showed 5 unique concussion signs after a head impact: Tua grabbed his head in pain. Tua stumbled when he stood. Tua "shook off the cobwebs" and moved his head side-to-side (which you only do in the instance of a concussion) Tua fell. Tua then had to be held up by his teammates. A vegetative state is a disorder of consciousness or an altered consciousness. It is caused by severe brain damage. Someone in a persistent vegetative state may look like they're awake, but they don't have an awareness of their surroundings. Tua will eventually need his football spoon fed to him.
