*I just realized that the reason why devil worshipers may be following Myers* is because he's "Michael Myers" (from the -Friday the 13th- Halloween movies). When i google Mike Myers these days, i get more results for the movie character than the comedian Mike.

Probably many of them are. Hard to believe *ANYone* in this day and age could seriously go around thinking that "satan" is a real thing, and "worship" it. ...But then again, there are still fundamentalist christian biblical literalists around, so I guess some people *will* believe literally anything...

Kent Campbell There are basically two forms of Satanism. Theistic, which do actually worship the figure of Satan, and non-theistic (not neccesarily atheistic) which follof the Church of Satan, started by Anton LaVey. The latter is more of a way of life, as well as a movement to create more of a distance between "church and state". These are the ones that are in the news, wanting to erect statues and what not, to show how silly it is to have one religion promoted by the government, and others neglected.

Which makes me so sad that the common assumption about Pagan religions is evil. Most Wiccan's are far more peaceful, generous, loving, and spiritually connected than the average Catholic/Christian. Or many other religions for that matter. What is so scary about someone saying "Blessed Be?" And the pentacle? It literally represents Spirit, Air, Fire, Earth, and Water. Ooooo.... the natural elements of Earth and the spirit.... so terrifying...... *rolls eyes back until they come back around*

A lot of religions including Catholicism have used this pentagram symbol which is a pentacle when in physical form. Incidentally the symbol that the Jews use as the 'Star of David' predates Judaism and is referred to in earlier texts as the Seal of Solomon.
