That SB was lost on a Mendenhall fumble. Steelers were down 4 at the 33 yard line with 2nd and 2. They looked great on that drive, 7 points were likely. That was the first play of the 4th quarter. Ben’s interception happened earlier in the game, one of which wasn’t his fault, and they still had plenty of chances to win. Ben played well in the second half.

The packers were the better team. They beat the red hot eagles in Philly, the 13-3 #1 seed falcons in Atlanta, the bears defense that had Tillman, Briggs, and Urlacher, and then that vaunted steelers defense. The packers had the better offense by a mile and their defense was 1A and 1B with Pittsburgh that year. They were 1 and 2 in every category.

@@billystreamsandmemes I disagree. The Steelers had 3 turnovers to GB’s 0 and still had a chance to win that game. The Steelers had more first downs, more yards, better 3rd down efficiency, and better time of possession.

Also no coach ever in that period of time or entire scope of a career has no losing record as a head coach.
